Struggling for ideas on design
We would just like to learn what some of you choose to do to get creative and think of ideas for web site designs I struggle on this a lot, I’m more of the left brain programmer variety, but would really like to get into design. I like to see photography, and see how I can take a picture and change it into a banner for any site, and then let the form take off after that. A lot of people prefer to visit Template Enormous to view several different designs and gain inspiration from there. I’ve realised not to ever under-estimate Mind Roadmaps… one thought ends up in another. " Finaly there’s nothing new, almost everything we create is done before only in a very different way. Might we ever often be anything but gentle The design iself is wonderful, but the blockiness and size in the body text is actually what really places me off. I’m also not thinking about the header tags you have to be honest, perhaps lowering the actual font size general, and adding spaces towards your headers would enhance it, Sure, I see exactly what you mean; the text may be a little block, I’m unsure why I decided Geneva tbh C Verdana may possibly be better WE suppose. As for that headers I plan to get rid of the Trebuchet MICROSOFT and replace it using a much more elegant TypeFace. What are my options?
Sorry to the extremely vague and noobish post, but where must begin I have a couple of sites i wish to streamline. basically seperate my personal data from the structure, and my personal structure from the design. At first we were certain that the perfect marriage would provide html + css + xml. How wrong we were! Said streamlining could involved using HTML to view a basic xml file for those of my website’s data (news, updates, so forth). Little did i know at that time, mozilla does not really support data islands, and thusly the idea was taken all to heck (as 50% and up of my viewing audience will be mozilla/netscape users). Really the only solutions i have realized have involved javascript hacks and extremely sophisticated XSL processors that appear to nullify the first intention of always keeping my sites straightforward to update. I just want to update a text(or whatever) record, then upload them to my site. This is a tremendously simple sounding trouble, and coming at a programming world, i can’t comprehend why it isnt simpler to accomplish.
