How, in business, ever " work" visual design. I signify, like what exactly is it is it logos, banners, pics or what
Furthermore, how would POST sell graphic style. Would I like sell many of images on CD If so what images would I don there Or would certainly I sell tailor-made images, the client tells me what they would like and I’ll allow it to become What happens easily can’t make it
I’m just confused, that is definitely all. Graphic Style and design, I’d imagine, would be a big part with my business, so how specifically would it work I apologize if this can be dumb, but I had to ask.
A reply from a man who actually can graphic design as a living would be preferable. Someone including Brak, TheGAME1264, Transio or perhaps Splufdaddy. Or anyone else who thinks they might give me an answer.
Note: I don’t mean to express that only these folks can give me through, it’s just that people do it for any living.

‘Graphic Design’ is a very broad term that covers elements of visual design, but to sum issues up I’d express it’s " conveying infomation or maybe an idea/theme through the application of type & symbolism.
Advertsing, Illustration, Motion (Title window screens, t. v Advertisements… ), Printed (Book addresses, Editorials, Magazines, Posters, Layouts… ), Corporate Identity/Branding (logos, combining specific typefaces/colours/styles etc), Online (Web, digital capital t. v… )
You type of get the idea, communicating through several mediums.

Properly that depends.. You could make a lot of graphics and sell them as a collection.. thats one of the ways.. Or greater common way(for me) is to do it while commision work. Such as you know somebody who needs your buisness card created, you design it for them. They as it and they purchase it from anyone. That person could be buying graphic style work from anyone.
Why don’t we say instead everyone designed a logo, or some image for your web, a flyer, magazine/newspaper posting, or anything.. that could almost all be commisioned work by means of graphic design. Don’t even think of graphic design as being a noun, It is not something you sell. It is more of your adjective, It describes which kind of service you are usually providing.

Again this depends.. in a situation prefer that your network will come in handy.. Network whats since your network is affiliates you know, plus the people they know and the people they recognize, and so on and so on.. They are affiliates you rely on to get work done should you cannot complete the item yourself. Lets say there is a client who owns a car dealership and wants one to do a mailer that will go out to verious people that have purchased cars from them in past times. He tells you which the manufactuer of their cars.. (ford, chevrolet, dodge, etc.. ) will pay for part of their advertising if they comply with a certin layout to the mailer. Well you find out nothing about what guidlines you might want to follow but you know somebody who did an advertising campain for that car manufactuer the following guy sells pertaining to. You tell your client you will get right back with him and also you call your ‘new best friend’ and ask him if he could do the layout to suit your needs while you design it and also you agree to spend him 30%. He agrees also , you are both happy and so is your purchaser. (BTW this happened to me)
Despite the fact that in almost any kind of buisness it pays(especialy within this business) to assemble your network. Greater the merrier. You might even think of certin members with this forum that you may turn to in case you run into the snag. The important thing is to maintain that client if at all possiable, don’t flip them away! That may be not greedy, it can be good customer assistance skills. If you make an effort to refer them to someone else they might find yourself loosing the number, loosing interest within the project, or finding another service provider. Because in essence you only regected their undertaking. In either of the cases your consumer walked out the door and you also got nothing from it. Always be the one negitiating deals. Accumulate a finders fee if nothing else!!
NOTE: One more idea.. negotiation skills became important. Not only in your clients but together with your colluges. You might not know a thing about video editing however you know one or two editors who are searhing for some extra money around the side. You could in that case extend your services to incorporate video editing..
EDIT: I think you are looking for grahpic design the wrong way. It appears like you are just wanting to sell images.
Instead of trying to figure out what " Artwork Design" is and attempting to do that, just do what you might like to do, and then choose a name for this. Graphic Design contains designing all different types of media. In the majority of cases, a DVD of " Artwork Designs" are not sold. A client would arrive at you with certain, unique needs and you’d help them one on one to create a remedy for them.

What will i consider graphic design I consider it to be all 2-D, motionless pattern of any type. If you research graphic design for a ‘job title’ you’ll find these types of people are designers (pen, computers, whatever) being employed by advertising agencies or companies in their advertising department.
It is usually billboard design, T-Shirts, bumper peel offs, web site structure, posters, announcements, mailers, letterhead, Many stuff.
In my opinion the main component to graphic design is this: Art that is made for a very specific purpose and it is created to entice people (customers) to look or act using some fasion.
