Help in learning

Hi everyone, I’m new into the forums. My business is looking for places to find out more how for being a better developer. I’m not new to website design, I’ve been dabbling inside since about 1997. My problem is always that when I going, I didn’t understand HTML but as an alternative used that small angelfire easy inventor. As time took, I moved off from that but turned dependant on Dreamweaver to style my pages. I know some HTML and I’ve started applying just the code section in Dreamweaver to undertake the sites, but I’m furthermore realizing that as the Internet grows, Now i’m lacking in the knowledge. Does anyone get any sites that could assist me in mastering not only HTML but CSS while well And in addition, does anyone have got any suggestions on approaches to learning web style better Jenn www. w3schools. com is a fantastic resource for learning a number of different languages. www. good-tutorials. com can be a large listing of countless different photoshop faq. Thank you for that w3schools. com – these have helped greatly. The good-tutorials isn’t much use to me here since I work with PSP8 but I did bookmark it.

Can’t see form in Dreamweaver – noob (of course :)

Hello there everyone, We’ve just started using dreamweaver mx 2004 and We’ve been asked to update an internet site for another person (first job). The problem is there are a few forms on the web site which my partner and i can’t see when i am in style view of dreamweaver. I’ll see the code as it and when WHEN I execute the site, the form can be obtained Its just unavailable to edit within design view. Can anyone help with this obvious noob concern thanks Jezzo Please don’t double post. How are you coding the form as this may be causing the matter (this is a new wild shot). sorry about the actual double post — basically it’s Xhtml – but for some reason there is the design-view problem (uneditable).

how to stream audio?

i believe if i dug serious enough, i did find this thread anywhere you want on here, but i lack the time or the energy. i’m trying to find the most efficient solution to stream live sound recording. i know it’s done at all times, but have no idea how to go about establishing it up from the broadcasting standpoint. i’m the webmaster for any little sports r / c show that’s looking to upgrade, but like my spouse and i said i have no clue how to put out that. thanks for any help. jlokey.

Which should I use, setup a blog or manually?

Hi there. My business is re-working my webpage, and im looking for a little advice. My site are going to be more regularly up-to-date etc, and on the frontpage it will be literally filled with some news, similar to a blog. Today, on the right hand side, I’d personally also like it to talk about " Top YOUR FIVE News" or something equivalent (the exact wording doesnt matter with the moment), so im guessing that I will have to create some type of blog or one thing right How could we start off therefore etc.. How to host live chat?

I’m working with a website for some sort of community. I’d like to host now and then a special occasion chat, where we’d have a very special guest that we’d interview. Certainly, we don’t need everybody to talk simultaneously, therefore have a plan to mute everybody except the selected interviewers as well as the special guest. Any clues about how I could have this sort of chat on my own site I’ve searched and discover many chat plans for websites, but none of these had this choice to mute a clear group of users. Navigation help… Links galore!

Hi folks, This probably will prove to be a cold article, but I am thinking of getting some constructive feedback with a draft navigation system geared for this personal/professional website. And this I have a long way: As an alternative to the above navigation system, I was also contemplating having four most important links: Those four is a visible main hyperlinks, and the rest is hidden via some sort of dropdown and/or Flash-based routing… Anyhow, please feel zero cost to comment/suggest/critisize this above mock course-plotting… I am furthermore contemplating having sub-links for my portfolio segment too… What are peoples thoughts regarding one-word links compared to multi-word links… example: Impress Design vs Print Sonic Comps or Audio And so on… Thanks beforehand, cheers! < /m> Not a bad idea, but unless you’ve got a huge amount of stuff for each category, you will find that there defintely won’t be much content within the page. Adobe ImageReady Rollover State

To start i am utilizing adobe imageready CS and i need to to create the button that had a over, decided on, and down condition. All i wanted the program to do was change made from of thbe copy.. what happens is once i change one it changes all this.. the program merely seems to let me change the states using the " styles" pallette.. i might appreciate if any individual could advise me on easy methods to accomplish what i’m trying to perform.. or if that cant be done ok , i’ll know so when i dont waste my time on the idea anylonger I think you could generate 3 copies on the text, have 2 analysts hidden on you state, then hide the prevailing layer and present a diff color within the next state, or anything else. That should work.

can certainly anybody gimme your snippet of computer code to load a webpage although not display it. likewise, something hidden thus when people take a look at the source they will dont see it (after under-going server and browser). regards. remember to send to joef0rd at AIM or my email at joefordumpire. com I dont think this really is even possiable.. More than likely there might be methods to get it to load and not display anything but that it is fair to be some type of client side action that may still contain the source to create it dissapear. I dont think you have access to a server to help send you a webpage without giving it… Maybe when you consider something being a server side type handling document, but it’s not actually loaded onto your machine, that’s all I can see.. if its a part of php wont that be hidden try something such as this: < td onLoad=" MM_preloadImages(‘youpicture. jpg’)" > & nbsp; < /td> unsure if it works, but that’s exactly how dreamweaver handles preloading photographs.
