Quite simply, I’m making a new log analyzer program (that is definitely the first decent one for under $500!!! ). I’m trying build a comprehensive list of every file extension on the net that indicates your page (and possibly not an image/plugin/etc. ). Here’s what I’ve so far: html htm shtml stm php pl cgi asp cfm (no extension) I had been wondering if people guys/girls can think about any I might have missed. (Note: It _will_ be possible for individuals to add extensions in the preferences, but in my own days doing website development I’ve learned to make things as automatic as you possibly can… there’s more Grandpa Bob’s within the ‘Net than you would imagine. So, I’d like to try and get as numerous extensions as I will. ) Oops, did not remember jsp… there’s additional. You’re missing a few hundred, although your search is at vain. If I wanted to I may possibly serve a PHP web page under page. mysuperextension merely wanted to… . aspx . shtm . ascx . php3 . php4 . php5 . jst The examples below formats also assistance ASCII output: . txt . htl . xml . vrml . sgml . … Continue reading

Not sure how to do this
My organization is wanting to put an area on my site so people can publish images to my personal email. Can a person tell me just how, or maybe good me a go around through. I don’t know how to understand this to work. Make sure you help!!!!! Jason People can’t upload to email. You can upload to a server, or you can have a link wherever people can electronic mail you, and they might attach files to be able to said emails. You may add a form-mail portion with file accessori ability (this will demand a form-mail component that allows Multipart MIME content). Depending on types of server you have, you should have the ability to do this by using ASP/VB, JSP/JAVA, PHP, or even CGI. Any idea what server-side ‘languages’ your host supports Is mysql a language If you do that is exactly what it supports.

I need helps with WEB DESIGN. Thank you so much
Fine Day. I will be trying to learn abt website design to creat your commercial page to get myself. I think frontpage is a good choice because involving its easiness rather than bad looking. Before putting all my commitment into frontpage, I just consider if I should be able to creat 1)a consumer database (Like make them register along with sign in,… ), 2)let these individuals post feedback for you to my pages (only signed up members) 3)Send an programmed email (like when they check out, an automatic email will probably be sent to them). In a similar fashion, automatically creating a reference number for each transaction ( like after they check out, the server will certainly send them a strong automatic email to inform them a a blueprint number and send me or let me know what items accompany that reference number) 4)Shopping wagon (e-commerce, I had any surf around oscommerce but I don’t know how to handle it (PHP,… ) any other solution or a great manual for oscommerce ) Would you guys know any programme which could help me to realize my criteria I heard DreamWeaver has been quite good yet I never truly tried it. most used languages
im a preety new web designer and was wanting to know what languages you guys utilize the most and what ones are more helpful. please post Many thanks I use CSS essentially the most because I think it offers the most versatility inside your designs, but it can even be the biggest hassle unless you know what you’re doing. It’s quite handy though. To define essentially the most useful it genuinely depends on what kind of web work you want to do. Designing for great companies would require a language that is the most cross appropriate. Designing smaller jobs may require a language that delivers versatility (like CSS, because I stated above). Coming up with databases for businesses would require PHP, ASP, or something of this sort. Then there’s always Java and various languages in order to dsign web applets or even CGI. It all really depends upon where you want to go with the idea. thanks. any one else have any favorite languages CSS is actually cool stuff. I’ve ‘just’ started getting into PHP and your simple things it could accomplish – extremely, very cool elements. It took myself FOREVER to figure out how to hook up CGI-BIN material … Continue reading

Website that works with data
WHEN I created an Excel program which allows me to duplicate and paste a large number of raw data right worksheet, run a macro, have information included with blank columns dependant on information in tips with data, delete rows with selected data, etc. We are wondering whether I could create a website that i can paste big raw data downloads into and also have it perform exactly the same steps. Can you good me advice on where to commence i. e. which program should I use to undertake what I am looking to do, etc Can you define " great amounts" I’m considering PHP… but probably ASP. net could possibly be a better match. In any event, the server-side script can use a CSV (. csv) comma-separated-variable file to obtain data and crunch it in your case. I just are not aware of how big a person’s files are. . If it’s an XLS track, ASP (or. NET) can understand it as in the event the spreadsheet were a table. You just need a different (Excel-specific) link string. I’d suggest. NET would possibly be your better selection, though, because I am aware that it can certainly run programs and such … Continue reading
