A "dark fantasy" website that doesn’t break The Rules
Hello guys! I have been previously told many times i always need to make use of a " dark seem and feel" pertaining to my site Tincture Adept However I’ve also examine that black backdrops are hard that will read, and really should be avoided. Any design advice on having a dim look without being hard to the eyes What I’d prefer is – dark fantasy feel – no garish colors (as can be seen I’m using garish colors right now! ) – good readability in addition to colors that move well together Should my main text areas employ a background image maybe a parchment paper effect or something like that Re-designing is something of any headache so a long way Jarrett Your background image just isn’t bad, but some kind of color might improve readability even more. Also, a banner about the top of ones page could start being active . neutral color. I’m not a fan of this huge strip involving black running down along side it, it’s not doing much to suit your needs except making coursesmart darker. I agree the ebony strip ain’t great. It’s actually meant to darken the site because my target market was … Continue reading

netscape 6.1 background-image problems
Hi y’all. Ive been trying to figure this out but have appear short, so I thought I’d personally throw it out into the community. My business is having a problem displaying some pages in netscape SIX. 1 browser. With some pages, where I have a background-image=" somepic. jpg" throughout my. css track, the image shows throughout my page. While this is actually all well along with good, I don’t want the photograph displayed in the table making the text difficult that will read, so WHEN I assigned a bgcolor=" ffffff" for my table. Occasionally the page parses good, but when I head to the secure document page, the bgcolor attribute would not get parsed. If i click on another page (non-secure) the challenge persists. However, if i go to any 3rd page, the page displays properly. I’m not coding anything different within the pages that obtain parsed correctly and the ones that dont. This particular only happens within netscape 6. 1 (the oldest version of netscape I have loaded) but works fine in all other browsers. Has anyone in addition experienced this Of course , if so, is generally there a fix. I do think its a netscape web browser … Continue reading

WIP Down to Earth
I have been prepping a web-site for writing reviews which i and many of my friend will be needed for producing. This is done before, but we looked at a few new ideas which may help the web site to stand on top of the masses. The actual slogan and fonts are generally still WIP. It sports a cartoony feel because I’d prefer it to appear fun on the get go. I’m ready for many crits. http: //www. zioncreation. com/images/2d/dte_02. gif Well, I can’t actually say much with out actually seeing it in action, but the rounded corners appear to be they should be a problem. Since circular borders aren’t at present supported in whatever but Firefox, you’d ought to put those in a very background. However, when you put those in a very background image, you’d be limited to the amount space that qualifications image has for the room you have in your content… You could nonetheless pull it off having a hack or a couple, but whatever. Efficient, though, it seems good, since you say fonts are still while in the works (I think this one’s somewhat straight for the tastes). I have an alternative way to use … Continue reading
