I cant figure out how to work tables. I mean I know how to make a primary table and almost everything its just seperating these people. Hi My business is starting out learning website development for a fiew ideas Relating to. I have tried to put together a site making use of dreamweaver. Tables Help Please…

Howdy, We have never really grasped tables and layouts in Dreamweaver (Advanced). I’ve made a rectangle which has a border around that in Fireworks MX, for text and stuff to go in. In Dreamweaver i attended layout view, made one Layout Table for any Banner, as their just an photo, and another for any content box. When i make a layout cell from the layout table and also drag the written content box into of which layout cell, it seems ok, but its for Image. I want and therefore add content to the present box, and i don’t want to use tiers. Someone told me thought about to change the actual BG or a thing, but it just lets me perform colour. Please Help. Complete newbie with a simple question!

Definitely All, This can be my problem, I am a complete in addition to utter newbie towards wonderful world or website development and know close to nothing about the actual coding of web pages. To get trapped in I downloaded a totally free template, then just thought we would design my private. Now I am very proficient together with Photoshop and designed an effective layout in PS in addition to sliced it in imageready and saved it with the html code. Add a 1 pixel solid border to certain table or a part of a table.

Hello there. I will be using FrontPage for web page design. I used to include 1 pixel, solid borders to certain table not all tables on the page or or parts of tables using FrontPage, nevertheless noticed that these kind of borders are only visible in Net Exlporer, while in other browser for instance Opera or Mozilla an individual wouldnt see all those borders. My question is how can i add cross-browser kitchen table borders so that it could be seen in all browsers or at the least in many I guess it can be done through css script, but I guess there might be easier way. Are tables obsolete for page design? (Replaced by span and div?) Your opinion please.

Concerning not paid a lot attention to world wide web coding for over the year, and currently I find assertions in forums that " tables are generally obsolete. one table row doesn’t show up in IE or Opera

I’m designing a site, and everything seems to figureout fine with te exception of a very important factor – I’ve bought a table of which works in Firefox, Netscape, plus Mozilla, but one line disappears in IE and Opera – the actual row with JPGs in the container. Everything else stays identical. I’ve posted the code for this below if any one has any ideas. Some of seems somewhat clumsy and hacked in my opinion, but I just simply did what I really could to get it to seem the way I need to. This is my first attempt at a website, consequently please pardon any kind of inelegant coding, and so forth, and feel free of charge to suggest far better alternatives. Additionally, one other issue. Tables and layout messing up in IE

Within firefox my internet site looks beautiful, in addition to seamless. But in IE all my tables get rid of line with eachother and i get unpleasant patches of space where there shouldn’t be. Problems with Alignment

Hi all im new here as well as web design its-self I am aware HTML/XHTML/CSS, but I am having real problems getting something to function. I shall explain I will be creating a site using Dreamweaver plus it has a table that is spilt into one collumn with a rowspan of A FEW, then the 3 OR MORE rows down the middle, then another collloumn just like the first. Concerning set the straight alignments to best. I insert a new gif I notify it to float left and clear in css. I then look at put some text using a heading tag as Relating to a css class with this tag and My business is horrified that your text drops below the picture, what I would like to know is am I doing something erroneous… If so you need to help. You would do better for you to post some program code. Though I’ll discuss that using platforms with CSS, together for layout, can give… Strange results.
