Time for a career change – want to move into web design

Track record info: Ive been residing overseas for 10+ several years in South Korea and recently decided to repatriate 36 months from now. One thing i want to do is get myself a different career every single child generate income when I move back to Canada. For that last 3 a long time Ive really savored hacking away at my sites and helping friends and colleagues start sites or moodle websites. However, despite what my pals think, I am truly a hack who seem to only knows enough to be dangerous. The thing is i enjoy working on web pages and wish to transition into web development full time. Clearly Ill really need to build a stock portfolio of sites. Im willing to put the time into that. More to the point however is developing my set of skills and qualifications. Who’s at Fault? Designer vs Client dispute, interested in your opinions

Hello there, A recent dispute came up of which made me wonder who is really in a bad here and MY SPOUSE AND I thought who better to ask for feedback/opinions/poll than your community of colleagues here. Recently I’d some trouble obtaining the Featured Content Gallery to operate on my internet site. I hired any designer, who should remain anonymous, that said he might troubleshoot it throughout 30 mins. Superb. It worked. Then again, it seems the missing closing DIV tag made the positioning look messed way up in Internet Explorer (the diminishing text problem this others have had) as well as from about 6am Friday morning to virtually 6am Saturday morning, the site had been unviewable by IE people. This was particularly tragic as this is the one day with the year that WHEN I go all out and purchase over a multitude of dollars of newspapers advertising and 80% with my visitors had been on IE. Questions about setting up website.

Hi there, I am brand new here. I have got once designed a few webpages before seeing that my hobby. On the other hand, I lost touch using the changing technology inside web development for a lot of years. So now We would like your help by using my questions. I’ve been programming NI LabView for SOME years. I have developed a labview program that will to make internet connections to mySQL, query and display the actual result. However it is not really feasible to put it to use as it is cumbersome to install labview run-time-engine throughout every PC intended for my colleagues make use of it.
