Definitely everyone newbie these. I got the design down pretty effectively in photoshop, and now i’m learning dreamweaver. Im in college and I would like to start a smaller t-shirt design compnay. I have a lot of designs that I’d like to put over the internet and have people be capable of pay for them on the webpage. So is adding your shopping cart… paypal… credit cards, is that the advanced feature that your beginner like me probably won’t be able to do Hey guys we have photoshop CS2 as well as Dreamweaver. Hi there everyone, I’m new the following and was wanting someone can point me inside right direction with regard to my situation. I’ve been planning web pages just the summer years, just uncomplicated stuff, informational having pictures and wording. I was just hired to create a website to get a company and what they desire is way over my head. I’ve never done any kind of actual coding, I’m the WYSIWYG method of guy. The corporation wants the pursuing: User registration for your website, Usernames and Passwords for documented users, Reside chat room, Debate forums, Particular profile pages, Admin control panel to get users. Like I said this can be WAYYYY more state-of-the-art than anything I’ve done before. I’ve using Dreamweaver 6 for my layout. I have a server that may host PHP and MySQL pages. Are there website templates I’ll buy Is at this time there free copy in addition to paste codes for a majority of these things I really hope I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew for this one. So… im looking in to building my earliest real website ive made a couple of webpages before yet nothing functional – i have a clothing company and we would like a webpage to offer my clothing on the web. im also a new graphic designer our full time work. Creating a website, is this too much for me?

Ok so I’m a system administrative by trade but I’ve done classes on HTML/CSS and a few easier work for $$.. I am also knowledgeable about SQL, Java, Javascript but fairly basic.. The primary functionality of that website is 1) your user base and 2) reviews.. (something like rottentomatoes) Are usually most efficient way to start this If I code everthing bymyself by hand i’m probably within over my brain.. is something being a good solution for any prebuilt backend Not worried regarding the design (html/css), just the backend scares me a bit. Any kind of advice/thoughts I would say Drupal is a superb choice. You must hire a freelance programmer who’s skilled at Drupal. Accomplish the graphics in addition to design yourself, leave the backend on the programmer. If what you’re doing is like rottentomatoes, you have a very huge project on your hands. Any ideas Will depend on your current level of skill.. and what you need to do, many " freelancers" i know and work with for projects work a full time job and do freelance use the side. In my opinion, just dumping anything and going out yourself makes no sense, even if you might be the most inspiring and efficient, you’re at your mercy of finding clients that are actually willing to pay for your work… building a profitable design business yourself means a massive amount discipline, a large amount of long days ( in addition to nights ), and occasionally being employed by minimal financial advantages… much like another business that is offered.
