How would one go about designing something like this…

My business is absolutly in love considering the simplicity of coursesmart below, and I here’s very curious how hard it would to make much the same layout. I want to obtain a site somewhat equivalent in form and function for by myself game design business. Were should POST begin Its funny I will design MMO mmorpgs, but I can’t design an affiliate site for them;: ) Thanks beforehand. -Small Bugs If you would like to modernize, then employ AJAX. Seriously, I’m annoyed with the site refreshing on a tab change. AJAX doesn’t do that and is quick and simple to use. However, again, I’m worried in the event AJAX is dangerous for Optimization crawlers. But for your game design studio, I think it really is OK. The particular flash there is not really all in which amazing, really, can you make clear which part you would like to replicate Honestly I similar to the simple layout and the tab tat practices behind the tabs with the top. Need to add a DHTML menu!!!

Hy you want to change this boring look about my site structure. I have downloadable a DHTML software program but dont know where to position the code. http: //www. articlesnews. org Where’s your software Plus on that note, I don’t suggest you to use heavy DHTML software program for menus. If you prefer a pop-up menu, the process under way create with CSS (and so are a wide range of imaginable kind of menu) alongside with simple JS. I accept Steax. The DHTML menu will give search engines a difficult time in indexing your internet site. All the central links are embedded while in the javascript which can’t be accessed by search results spiders. Google " css menu", and you will find plenty of good examples of CSS-based choices. They are convenient to use and make your blog friendly to google.

Validation

Can certainly anyone give me some links in order to known validators It would be good if these types of forums had a new sticky somewhere using links to verify our websites in order that they meet good standards Thanks a lot! The w3c has many of the main validators – http: //validator. w3. org/ to get HTML and http: //jigsaw. w3. org/css-validator/ to get CSS. There’s also a validator with regard to WCAG (Web Content material Accessibility Guidelines) that’s the following (link too long). But this town, for compliance in order to accessibility which is a very good thing, is reasonably hard to go away. I know theres some sort of DDA validator identified as Bobby and I believe W3c created the item, however I can’t find it online or the w3c internet site. Have you found it http: //webxact. watchfire. com/ You may get some pretty respectable ones for firefox – head over to add on webpages for Firefox plus type validator inside search box, there’s two analysts I think. Most such validators still use the official ones AFAIK. The validation method is too complex to try and do via JS, which can be what FF employs for … Continue reading

Getting a grip on the idea…

Hi, Ok therefore the idea im having originated an old apple program that handled files and ringbinders bu i cant discover the documentation on them. Basically theres a new structure of files gain access to (all pdf’s) which might be in a style in this way… HOME ________________ Folder Folder Folder _____ ____ _____ Track File File Track File File Ok so it’s just like a tree structure then again its not displayed like this. Picture a floating bubble in teh centre within your screen, the you mouse click on it and much more bubbles appear about it, then once an individual clikc on some of those bubbles it pans over to that section even more bubbles appear around it etc . until you’re with the final directory degree. I’ve probably simply confused everyone over it, i know truly confuse dmyself and i just need some help getting a handle on how i get rolling. Thanks beforehand! This seems like a good Flash application to my opinion. Get a good Flash community forum and re-ask your question. Another option can be AJAX, with a real mix of PHP as well as Javascripting. And also… I’m also uncertain if you’re preaching … Continue reading

new portfolio crit

just need a little crit on the final layout before we build more of the site. what does one like… and what does one not just about any opinions welcome http: //www. paulcurley. com/PORT2/index. php I’m keen it. It would not make me state " WOW! " but I do as if it. Nice, sparkling simple layout….. good us going for color. The sole thing that mixed up me was that Recent Projects I thought it turned out still loading (since this reveals to bottom out). Appearance good though. Only thing I will say is the actual Recent Projects (the " s" in projects) can be behind the border of the flash, so it looks slightly off…… bring this forward should fix that. None of the page are connected, so can’t declare anything there. So good, looks good….. sorry, only spent a few hrs on the site last night (design and dev) so it was only that page i obtained semi done. in terms of the ‘recent’ subject overlapping, i presume you looking at in something rather than FF once again i became rushing to obtain a bit of crit, wasn’t sure i became going down the proper route. do … Continue reading

Copyright Concern From Outsource Firm

Somebody in my friends and family just brought this kind of up…… if I don’t answer this, I might lose members of the family (they have never liked the idea of me doing some sort of startup, but being this stubborn idiot We are I’m sticking together with it), so MY SPOUSE AND I highly appreciate any kind of insightful response. I don’t genuinely have a background in web site design, so how can i ensure any code that whoever delegate firm gives me isn’t copied off elsewhere, and then WE get sued for it They insist WE go learn some web site design before hand…. during the past, I’ve tried however really, I personally know I am going to probably never be a great designer…. as I hate to become to honest ( I really like marketing though) I realize you need to stick to what that you’re good at plus I hate website development and computer encoding, but I find it hard to convince my own family that this is actually the correct thing to try and do. In addition, what could you need to do if your technical partner leaves a person…. what could an individual do … Continue reading

Protecting Applications

OKAY, I have a fantastic little web site i always think is great. I plan to separation my site in to 3 products. 1) Fundamental – 5 2) More advanced – 10 3) Whole Site – 25 However I know the risks connected with putting out an internet site onto the world wide web, as soon as the source code is out of your hands people can do anything with that. What will i do to shield my scripts. vBulletin apparently have something to shield their forums. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can perform to protect this work from individuals who have not paid out. Try Zend. www. zend. com Well for the HTML/CSS/JS part is definitely unprotectable, and there are some other more specific methods to make certain people can be validated so that you can use your job application, but none are generally foolproof. It’s a rather complex subject…

Learning JavaScript

Can anyone know of any good resources in which to read and develop JavaScript expertise. I need a thing that tackles the particular document object model and preferably a new resource which showcases practical uses Javascript. We are not interested within a function list or even a tutorial site and that is mainly theory. My biggest piece of advice, as having any language, is always to start reading great code others possess written. In of which regard, I would absolutely recommend having a glance at the actual program code underlying the Prototype as well as jQuery libraries. It could be quite educational. Intended for smaller-level pieces associated with code, try looking at a number of the code underlying plugins per of those. You’ll see a good deal about OO style in JS and such from them. The best ebook for JS is still accepted as the Rhino reserve, from O’Reilly (JavaScript: The Definitive Guide). Actually, it’s largely accepted as one of the particular relatively few ebooks that covers the JavaScript language the best way it’s meant for being covered.
