VBulletin Questions

We are currently considering purchasing a VB Board. Yet before I decide, I would want to ask some regarding you guys some questions about the item. 1) Can it be actually worth a whole lot of money 2) Does this mean I am going to not have to be able to renew the permit afterwards 3) Can it be hard to receive skins and put hacks to VB 4) Plus anything else you want to add Must i, Or shouldn’t I Many thanks, Daniel Oliver ONE. I feel it truly is worth paying to get, but not $160. ONLY TWO. Each year with regard to $30, you have to renew access into the download. That means you possibly can run vB indefinitely, but if you don’t pay the $30, you simply can’t download new versions. THREE. Definitely not, even though custom-styling WDF got months. There can be some custom coding. If you want to make the styles and hacks oneself, it can take significant amounts of time learning how each section of the system works together other parts. SEVERAL. vB3 looks far more promising than vB2. Even so, given the current gui (which isn’t final), I still believe vB, along … Continue reading

my site was ripped

My personal site: http: //www. skateflint. com/ Artificial site: (edited due to the fact I goatse’d the site http: //www. skateflint. com/images/fake. gif ) Gah.. That certainly appears like a rip. Have you got into contact with the person Did you know this theif zero, I don’t realize them. I just noticed the link in my site’s referrer statistics (they will need to have been linking on the pictures for a little bit or something) in addition to saw it. I agree : A noticeable give-away is the Navigation length (the line at the bottom), and not surprisingly your.. News or anything else items. You might want to email the person with a warning, telling them to eliminate the website instantly. EDIT – There’s no email address detailed, so you must go about it other wayss… Ahahah.. vengeance! Just like that another site that stole my content a time back, they related directly to my files. This time it had been the nav expensive file. So I made an instant flash animation which says " make your special design" then (just like before).. goatse! HAHAHAH! (if you do not know what goatse is actually.. good. But they don’t do this … Continue reading

Please help Re: Site design

This is a bit much to be able to ask but I really need advice by someone with a little bit of knowledge We need to build a site that will require a customer entering information in to a dynamic form and those details might then be instantly posted onto an HTML page. We’d then need to be able to construct a easy to use search facility for you to enable other clients to ‘read’ this posted comments. We’d aslo like available a ‘feedback’ / rating system just like that used by Ebay but is not essential. We are currently using Dreamweaver MX when my WYSIWYG arrangement and my ISP currently offers this services: CGI (Upload individual scripts is permitted) My personal SQL The ISP does not yet support ASP (Frontpage extensions) I have designed various sites with Dreamweaver during the past and have utilised formmail etc has worked fine. Possible have a ordinary form – CGI publishing facility but this would mean physically being forced to cut / paste information to the displaying page every time. Should you choose decide to offer you me any information – thanks before hand. PS: We are trying to function this out currently … Continue reading

Dreamweaver MX localhost problem??

We are having a challenge getting IIS in order to properly map my own web root. I’m using DWMX and possess never had this challenge beofre. I’ve always used (on similar machine) F: /SITES/the site for the reason that local storage area after which it C: /localhost/Webs/the site for the reason that testing server. the positioning = the name belonging to the current project (e. he. Car Company). While i preview the web site from dreamweaver, IE/IIS attempts to look for the site while in the /localhost/ directory Besides the /localhost/SITES/car organization. Everthing will be configured properly with DWMX. If I check out http: //localhost/SITES/trace. aspx, the page runs without any problems — hence the server end would seem ok. We can even get that will http: //localhost/SITES/Car Company/index. aspx but none from the graphics load. Easily hover the mouse with the graphics quickly, I see from the status bar how the URL is /localhost/images/car1. gif As an alternative to /localhost/SITES/images/car1. gif. For some reason the url is usually leaving out that " second level" with mapping. I’ve been using DWMX for a little bit and I’ve never had this challenge before. Intended for whatever it’s worthy of, this is … Continue reading

Starting a villa site

Good, here’s what We have for now. What do you think Splash Key Not quite sure what it’s. Splash page is quite nice, the principal… eh, could do better. It’s a little bit washed out and plain at this time. Yep, which is my problem. The splash page is quite good, but the key looks out of color and as you said washed out. Can you males give me ideas steps to make it more coluorful Site down at this time It can’t be down, maybe there isn’t access to the idea. I guess I am going to attach them here. No concerns, it is being employed again now. I’ll post an overview in 30 moments or so. Pretty good, but you may possibly do with some increased colour within the splash. Using some pleasant quality JPEGs in the surrounding area would clean up the site, and introducing some blues and green vegitables would allow for an assortment of shades and suggestions also. The splash page is pretty nice because you have a nice variety of colours included in the photos and the map and the like, however the main site is very plain, lacks colour and lacks variety. It’s … Continue reading

Site Redesign (again ;))

Properly I’ve started on the completely different change for FMD Studios (I’ve got a bit on my hands), but a pal showed me that this design that I’ve truly mocked up looks a bit more like www. ceruleanstudios. com. Does the look look ‘copied’ from their site, because if it does I really is going to change it. If it can be ok I’d appreciate a little critique (yes, I realize the CSS will be explorer-fied, but merely develop the design it’ll be x-browser I assure ) Also would using the cube breaching copyright (it’s a rubik’s iirc) Update: The redesign can be found here – online world. fmdstudios. com/Redesigns/index. html Where could be the redesign It’s an improvement on what you’ve before I imagine. However I do like your outdated design and think it would be good if you do have a nice professional looking banner on them. IT would increase a completley different feel to the site and it would be for the much better. If you cannot developed a new banner then I might consider a full redesign. I don’t even think it’s copied out of that site too much, or it will not look it. But … Continue reading

Interactive Contact form

I’d prefer to add the interactive contact variety where people might insert their artists, emails, comments etc after which it submit. Unforuntately I have got (pretty much) zero clue how to start this. Is it complex stuff You would like a server edge scripting language (PHP, ASP(VB, C), JSP, Coldfusion, etc) to do that. (the inputs can be stored somewhere WE presume). When you’ve got knowledge of a script language, it’s fairly easy. If not, you’ll have to learn one. That will take a little bit of time, but is very rewarding once you start to master the idea. Any kind of interactivity through a web site page (except switching objects around within the page/changing background color as well as the sorts), is exclusively achievable through machine scripts.

Howdy… I am currently a Lecture with Tresham Institute, Kettering. Like what scripting language will be the site made inside I’ve noticed that every time they upload a Bit-torrent it displays on the webpage. I have viewed around various tracker screenplays the students suggested but it isn’t customizable. Im adamant Bittorrent would be a fantastic idea, so any help can be appreciated. Many thanks : vintage: How big tend to be your assignments Little bit Torrents wouldn’t be advisable unless it’s as a minimum 1000 students or more, and they’d have to leave their shares up for some time. how many students do you have Hello I have around Three or four thousand students, the files utilize the 10mb to 50mb.
