Photoshop Help!!

I’m acquainted with Photoshop but not the specifications behind it.: hmm: I loaded upward an image inside it, fairly large in space. Everything was excellent, until I experimented with inserting text. That font size possesses now multiplied!! The tiniest size 6pt now seems like a size SOMETHING LIKE 20. The 72px appears to be 200px etc and so on. I’ve tried everything; restting options, transforming options, un-installing in addition to re-installing it to be able to no avail. Anyone know what is considered wrong and how I try fixing it Respect, Frank pt/px are contrasting. check the resoluition (dpi) of one’s document… 50pt font appears dramatically different over a 72dpi image over a 300dpi image. Make a mistake sorry yeah, the many above px throughout my post above must be pt. It could also be the particular zoom setting.

Can FTP overwrite erase online file without overwriting? & cheap FTP + HTML editors?

Howdy all. I am testing out the free " BatchFTP" buyer, fairly new yet with high comparisons at Download. com. This is made for doing entire " batches" –i. e., you can application it to add various files throughout various directories, all at one click. Works nicely, BUT I am leery because it says similar to: GUARDEDNESS! If you fit " always overwrite, " this can result in losing the good old file without swapping it with nearly anything, because BatchFTP erases the actual old file first, then attempts to upload the brand new. Any problem with the upload, you don’t have any file online… … And if you don’t put " always overwrite" —it skips completely that file distribute! So this totally defeats the purpose of a " batch FTP" client, not think Can certainly someone please inform me: –Is it a standard hazard with virtually any FTP overwrite… you can end up without the need of online file Do each of them " erase the actual destination file first" Or is this specific just because that is the " batch" FTP –I really do not need a " batch" FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL. So much code for so little to show

I’m endeavoring to make a straightforward page (template) with a menu across the top (well, I go made) but there’s basicly no content into the page, and yetthere has expired 600 lines of code simply to make a menus that only includes 4 selections. I am just using Coffeecup HTML CODE editor, which I guess may be a mistake. FTP Connection

Howdy again, fresh day… new problem!!! I am having problems attaching to our webserver by means of FTP software. It worked fine the other day but now now i am getting this mistake message… ERROR: > Connection closed because of the server. ERROR: > Unable to login I’ll access the folder through a mapped drive in my PC and I’ll see the files fine but wanting to use an FTP program no go. the only purpose I discovered this is because I am establishing a different project while in the same style and also this new onme is not really working at just about all…. I think my personal Manager has evolved something but he does’nt know very well what. Any advice, guidelines greatly apreciated. Mitch… The only thing I’ll think of initially is that port 21 may have been closed. I’ve noticed it happen previous to. Try that. Thanks on your input. Found what had transpired, *someone* had messed with the permisions on the root folder.. tracked it straight down eventually but clearing up is not how I would like to spend my time frame. changing a websites resolution

Well let me start with Now i am a noob to website design, I’m sorry if this is posted and sent a reply to before however I’m really ensnared and I’ve tried to look for the forums, web, etc. to find through. I have recently design a web site using frontpage 2002 (first oversight I’m finding out) pertaining to educators, my overall mistake was which i had my res set on my own laptop to 1600×1200 next time i created it. 3 months subsequently (a week ago) I published your website. Well now I find that people should either change there resolution to see the site or scroll everywhere we look to see all. my site includes over 25 websites and over 400 hyper-links to sorts, documents, calendars, and so on. I need to be able to change the decision, I was specialist 800×600. I also been reading here as well as else where with regards to creating water pages, tables along with or frames using percentage limits for example., but no-one includes really state how to change a preexisting websites resolution. Will it be just me or will be industry starting for you to slow. Freelance work seems to have harder and harder to locate. Web aatabase help

Concerning a question related to HTML and databases. My work put uses windows 2000 host with IIS as their web machine configuration (with Frontpage Node extensions). I want every single child query and display something from your database. However, ASP is disable but not available due that will security. Is there anyhow to interact dynamically which includes a database without ASP or almost every other server-side language As an example, I use Frontpage 2002 and there exists a database connection and also wizard. However, I read in a book that if you use the wizard, it’s important to have the web site as a HA. asp’ page. Though the web server have disable ASP, and I dont really discover how to, or if you can even, get query results with the database. Please help me if you. Saying that i’d expect a great deal of this uses action script to create it work.
