Hit Counter
Fine, this is what I’m trying to find: A FREE OF CHARGE hit counter that (1) doesn’t really need script on my server to figure (or does on another person’s server (2) does not put an unsightly graphic or mouse on my internet site. Virtually any help greatly appreciated. Kind regards. Good chance finding that, a free of charge counter that wants nothing in return (ie. no advertising). An excellent free PHP script that we use and love is available at www. ekstreme. com. Seems that his / her site is during a server step though. It uses txt files as an alternative to SQL databases, and it’s actually a VERY easy to run. If you’re involved, let me know. i used to use one which i found on yahoo and google. It was cost-free, invisible and they will wanted nothing in return. but sorry, i’ve forgotten what the positioning was. In addition, post your requirements inside the ‘reqeust a service’ community. Or if you may be bothered, just generate one. Its a straightforward script. It wil only receive a couple days to educate yourself how.. You might easily code the one which included a php file as an image… … Continue reading

An Idea For Securing your code
Hello everyone, I’m the latest guy here. Merely joined up this evening. I see that most of you are obtaining some real challenges keeping your internet sites secure. Just wished to make a idea. There is a script available identified as Code-Warden. It uses php along with your. htaccess file in your server to limit your code from being viewed simply by pesky thieves. http: //www. codewarden. com Transio, My organization is truly sorry to hear that you have been tricked. I checked out your website when I had been still lurking inside the forums, and I thought ?t had been FANTASTIC! There are ways to guard yourself, and make them at least slightly harder for those people *(& %# that think they’re so slick to grab you off. Granted nothing today is 100% risk-free. But trust me, I sent the code due to this to a good friend of mine, and he said for the effort that it took to hack the actual code, it might have been just as simple to design out of Scratch, lol! Unfortunately I have not yet found a totally free way to develop the identical effect that this kind of script has… but … Continue reading

Good Forums?
Whats the best FREE forum Invision, but it’s crap close to vB. pay the worth, it’s worth this Invision Table www. invisionboard. com www. phpbb. com www. wowbb. com there are actually more, but they may not be worth mentioning. I do think that Invision Power Board is a best, but brussels is also beneficial: http: //www. webtrickscentral. com/forums/index. php If you could install IPB, wait last week or max any weeks till IPB v2 is actually released phpBB. I have tried all those meals but this has been the better one of many lot and it really is free. The modern phpBB 2. 2 is returning out soon and the development forum seems fantastic, 100% better then the prior one. Also it’s really simple to use, easy to add MODs to and easy to set up. You cannot go wrong. http: //www. aimoo. com That one’s quite good and so are all the others. I would likely recommend www. phpbb. com and also www. invisionboard. com. Both these are available on free licences, they usually both have significant new releases coming out in the near future. I would recommend you try both of these to see which one you … Continue reading

Can i downlaod wordpress (or textpattern) and use it now?
Or do need to wait until i get yourself a proper host Merely wondering, cause i dont want to afford hosting until everything is all set like i want it to.. You can download them now but obviously will not be able to configure these folks until you upload in your webspace. Despite the fact that, you can have got a wordpress blog hosted at their site, http: //wordpress. com/signup/ You will have to get a propper intended for. I’d reccomend using WP as it’s easy to configure, implament and use, basicly you recently change a few variables in a. php file, upload it for your server and function an install archive which does everything to suit your needs. It’s dead simple. Also there are a tonn of plugins to boost WP and prolong its funcionality. I’ve used it for those 5 blogs that i have done/am working away at and wouldn’t consider using whatever else.

Odd situation… i need some help.
I’ve truly recently started ad ads on Craigslist and also have received a several good responses. I’m broke and require another revenue stream. One person that Patient emailing back and forth has an odd situation and she’s asking me for a bid. I am less than sure how to visit about this total thing either. The girl wants me for you to re-build her site (WiseEssentials. com to ensure it is more Search engine Optimized (SEO) and add more goods. She sent me an individual SQL file that doesn’t open in OpenOffice plus probably doesn’t in other things. She also sent me the main folder of the woman’s website. It seems you can find no webpages a PHP file that connects with a database. Apparently the website was commenced but never done. Should I simply just start over Things seem a little bit iffy to my home. One other note. This web page will include some sort of " content direction, shopping cart, list for newsletter and also back end editor". And this she has called for. How can i go about of which situation Also, I’m wondering how every person else goes related to bidding their jobs and how … Continue reading

PHP security
Hello there all, I’m using a mysqli database network, I currently have connect script such as username/password for database on my catalog page, this cannot be seen on watch source but My organization is wondering whether I should squeeze connect script around an external file on a password protected patch of the site. How is it possible for anyone to actually view the documents on my server Thanks before hand No fact that that. Hacking through the particular webhost shared server is the way in, just in case someone did this, it would not matter the place that the file was found. Leave your join script where it truly is. Thanks for ones response… that’s one less thing to be concerned about. When I mastered that at school i was told it had been fairly safe the way you did it, but being truly safe use a link to a strong external db connection page rather than in the similar location as your complete other files. Wouldnt make a scrap of difference – each of the persons then have to do is examine the ‘include’ place, and bingo – they’ve the file. You don’t have true secure way of storing … Continue reading
