server ip?
Now i’m running apache TWO. 0 on my ocmputer at the moment… but when MY PARTNER AND I goto http: //iphere getting older work! am I doing somthing wrong PS it worked some days ago… Uncertain about 2. 0, although in 1. 3 OR MORE. 27 you won’t be able to use localhost as being the server name if you would like access the server outside your computer. Your firewall may be blocking port 80, too. Aspect note: 2. 0 can be notoriously unreliable along with PHP, even SEVERAL. 3. 0, and the PHP folks highly recommend using 1. 3 OR MORE. 27 with PHP. avoid yeah… but MY SPOUSE AND I run XP in addition to 2. 0 extends better with experience… and my router has a internal firewall… so I guess I’ll make sure to disable it….. gives thanks Where brand-new heard that A COUPLE OF. 0 runs much better in XP ONE PARTICULAR. 3. 27 runs perfectly fine with luck in 2000 as well as XP. WHEN I didn’t hear that I tried the idea I’m running COUPLE OF. 0 with php SEVERAL. 3. 0 and the Localhost works great… but I want people to access it… … Continue reading

bah!
okay… I got my router to let the port 80 go through.. but now while i load it over the IP it doesn’t load up… http: //paradoxpc. jrawly. com —————————===== Example Explain. that is certainly the default index. html file regarding apache. Remove almost all files from < apache installation directory> /htdocs/ submission site, except the " manual" folder. and Place your own personal. that is if you are running it on windows. Also, never loaded with luck. You may as well add an Alias directive afre the wedding, or use your own personal DcoumentRoot. Poke around within the manual to see what they do. bah.. thats not what I became talking about… it turned out because 2. 0 can be crap… so now I have 1. 3. 27 but it still doesn’t operate right… it can choose like 3 moments working fine… in that case it just halts wirking.. and I will only access it from " localhost" to. o help: ‘-( REVISE: never mind… I acquired it to perform… somehow the timeout within the php. ini was set to YOUR FIVE seconds…

Nameservers on my PC
Hi there guys, I purchased a domain identify from godaddy and desire to host it about my pc.. i’ve downloaded Apache/php/mysql but now i’d like to see my domain appoint to direct in order to my pc.. i think this is done by changing that nameservers on my domain name admin panel but I need ideas of what my nameserver is is there some kind of command like ipconfig that will tell me that Thanks a lot kindly in improvement Sorry but I couldn’t find virtually any threads that appeared to be related that will yours. I’m sure some sort of human will reply soon that will out. Use your IP address because primary nameserver (ping a person’s machine name should you be not behind a router), although loads of ISPs don’t enable you to host a domain on your hard disk. It also has to be a static IP address in addition or it would not work. Real but my ISP makes use of DHCP and my own IP practically in no way changes. Of course on dialup it’s actually a different story in addition to from what I have seen about AOL is that you never really apparently … Continue reading

Hosting 2 domain on 1 webserver
We have a client that may be hosting 2 names on single webserver. He has 5 static additional ip address. He would like to assign or allocate ip address with each domain. That server is at the rear of the router….. normally in establishing a webserver behind a router you recently assign static ip correct then open the required port for this server & it will eventually work. But the matter here is if you’re behind the router the webserver work but the COUPLE OF domains hosted with that server may share 1 WAN ip target….. is there just about any work around for this one I’ll thankyou if anyone may give any suggestions….. thanks a great deal. Put a switch while watching router I don’t think you need to use a router to regulate two dedicated IP’s (not an easy router, at least) because the point of a router is always to route one IP to be able to multiple IPs. It can become done in a variety of ways. As mentioned, a switch would be one option, then assign the IPs towards NIC card along with bind the virtual servers on the IP address you need. In this … Continue reading

new web site works fine everywhere except my clients network
Howdy, I have recently built a fresh website for some sort of client to substitute his existing web page. I have transfered his exiting URL towards new site as well as old site continues to be disabled. The new site is uploaded towards host and works fine when entered from anywhere but along at the clients business target. The client even now gets the previous website when he / she enters the URL despite the fact that its no more online. His business system PCs are powering a router(not guaranteed of brand) along with im thinking the router is a problem. Any help diagnosing this problem would be considerably appreciated!…… RK Appears like there’s something in the cache… Try doing http: //site. comx – in the event that he then gets the brand new site it’s surely a caching issue (normally whether a page has details to it the cache will probably be ignored). How long are you trying If fat loss find where the cache would it be is perfectly possible it will eventually disappear in some hours. Sean.

Finally…DSL
Heya all… Im finally becoming DSL and I was questioning a few answers with a few questions in the event anyone wants to make the effort to answer these people. First off, theres not really a phone line within my room however theres one inside room across the hall so precisely how will they get everything create i. e this router etc. Furthermore, I have ONLY TWO seperate phone lines for the net and house telephone so will they probably want me to reduce the internet line or stick with it My main issue is how will they obtain router and everything developed when the closest phone jack/line can be approximately 15 foot away Thanks for the time and solutions… it really allows me prepare!! –Kevin Phone cables are very long. They’ll just work a cable recommended to their modem and join the modem for your computer either by simply USB or ethernet (hopefully the latter). DSL doesn’t require dedicated entry to a phone collection like dial-up. You’ll be able to talk on exactly the same line as the anchor text. 15 foot is nothing, you’ll be able to easily set upward the system inside other room after which you … Continue reading

Eclipse annoyance
Eclipse + the internet tools plugin is definitely great. Except any time I’m my firm’s VPN, at which in turn point the publisher is excruciatingly gradual. It takes almost an additional for every persona I type to truly appear in that editor. It’s wholly snappy and speedy on my household LAN. Eclipse by itself is idle (not setting up a PHP type or anything). Ideas on how to speed it up Unfortunately, copying the data files to my neighborhood server and working off that is definitely not an solution. what’s ones internet speed property 768 kbps upward, 7 mbps decrease. A ping into the remote router is just 30 ms. test running something basic, e. g. notepad by means of it, check the pace then. It is only Eclipse. For instance, Dreamweaver is okay.
