XP SP2 and the Drop-Down
Features anyone noticed this there’s this bothersome message that slides down with the top of the IE page written content window now whenever you go to an affiliate site with drop straight down menus running XP with Service Group 2 All my templates, all the plus the drop-downs are today screwed. Of course, you can always go into the options along with change the configurations, but in my personal mind, if I’m designing for that web, and SP2 will be causing this communication to popup for almost any drop-down menu, I need to rule out even while using the drop-downs because the actual XP SP2 user base grows everyday and I don’t need to rely on the common non-tech savvy user being forced to go into those options to allow for this stuff that will drop down and it is just a sort of harassment. Fine Lord, has SP2 essentially ruled out your drop-down menu and also does anyone know of drop-downs which can be SP2 compliant Have any URLs for us to see I have SP2 about my laptop hence I haven’t used it a lot of, but I haven’t experienced concern yet (although I did just recently upgrade).

How do you do these interactive slides? (link)
http: //www. bulova. com/ What program must be used to create these neat interactive slides such as site above Thanks all… again! Aza Seems like a simple JavaScript. You’ll find the source while in the code of coursesmart. Just copy and paste Could it be that simple, or can there be more to the idea Yes the good news is lot more to be able to it. If you want t make something like that yourself. It is best to don’t. Is not that hard to attain but you need to have a strong Javascript skill. There are several cool pre-written JS on line, that helps you decide to do something pretty same. Google it, " Javascript photograph slideshow". But subsequently, it still isn’t an effective copy/paste. If you really want to dig heavy into it and discover ways to make something like this yourself. I suggest a person try the Yahoo Graphical user interface library. It makes it possible make Js influences like sliding, driving, fading and running your layout. However, that’s a lot more advance. As a final point, do use Expensive. It’s not that hard to find out.

How can I remove the empty space on my website
Hi What will i do to remove the ghastly bare space on my own website Before uploading it towards the internet I tested it in Dreamweaver and it also looked alright but when i uploaded it (just consider! ) there is niagra huge empty area. The site is at www. letsmakenigeriaabetterplace. com You need to help. I do not own time to check (1: 00am), but 99% of the time, that happens once the widths of individuals floated elements are usually too wide, so they end up dropping down and doing a myriad of wierd things. The belief that it looks okay in DW without in a browser, tells me that some of those widths is maybe Couple pixels too huge (ok, maybe SEVERAL or 4). Shave some of those divs down as well as I’ll bet everthing slides back into place. *Note: You could have position: absolute mixed around a floated factors, which may become your problem too, since it will be after your float declaration, it could override the float. So check that out as well. Don’t mix float and absolute roles. Hi Aeroweb99 I have checked the style sheet and I still can’t determine it out. Yes … Continue reading →

A little help with jscript slide show
Succeeds perfectly in firefox but looks like hell in IE.. I thought I got an okay developer until I found cross browser optimizing. Anyway please look at my portfolio page/code with IE and explain to me what I am doing wrong. WEB ADDRESS is: http: //www. miliandesign. com/test. html I have been trying to develop it for hours but can’t number it out, help could well be much appreciated. Do not know why the minute slide drops below the first, then the up coming 4 slides don’t manifest. (Take a take a look at it in Firefox to get reference) Is also there a code to mend the png troubles in IE My background images glance very weird. Thanks a great deal (yes i know i’m a noob, fresh away from college) -Max Depending on the version of DW… you really need to find and function the " cell phone conflicts" or " cell phone compatibility" tool… Likewise… in one of the css files…. it has all the graphic references as " file: ///C/Documents%20and%20Settings/Maximilian%20Denning" unless you’re running this page on your computing… you’re gonna have issues. .

How to make images move like this?
http: //www. hewlett packard. com/ It think it’s nicer than the usual normal slider… the best way would I achieve it Thanks! Looks just like a custom mootools script. The expanding sections with the slides could be done very easily with jQuery’s css job. Oh… More mention of their MooTools thing WE keep hearing concerning A quick Google later, and I’ve go to the conclusion that I’d rather remain faithful to jQuery. In every case, I’ll just utilize Nivo Slider at the moment… I’m in a little a hurry to achieve this…

Anyone know where I can find big rotating banners
Everyone know where Allow me to find big turning banners like noticed here –> https: //squareup. com/ There’re doing that most of with javascripting. MY PARTNER AND I does look truly nice, but their business is about User Interfaces. You can watch the HTML with their site along with see the javascripting at the end of the key page. I’m guessing most of the scripting is made by them. sure I saw all that… I simply want something equivalent… I see many javacript/jquery sliders however , not like this where it takes up all the actual screen Fairly awesome. I like exactly who are doing having JS (and CSS3) these days. Have you noticed the newSmart Internet site < — 100 % AWESOME!! If you can’t mind shelling out a bit of cash, look with this. That is not it, Alpha. That looks like nivo online world. noupe. com/ u can find them here you possibly can go into jquery script, css where u can boost the width. then by making use of position u can use it. in the event that width of system is 980px. hold slider width: 100% as well as so. n retain that div outdoor … Continue reading →

Help with slides/mouseover actions
Hello there guys, I am currently employing css3 site template to generate a site for your band: http: //tympanus. net/codrops/2012/03/23/responsive-content-navigator-with-css3/ Nevertheless, I am wanting it to get an effect the location where the slides are greyscale but head over to colour on mouseover, like during this tutorial: http: //webdesignerwall. com/tutorials/html5-grayscale-image-hover I will be a bit confused regarding how to start it, mainly since the images for that slides are determined within the css, whereas the float effect is created by making use of jquery within the particular source code. Is there another way to achieve this without calling with jquery perhaps Any ideas or help could well be much appreciated!
