Creating a fancy menu in dreamweaver 8?

I come to this forum beyond great frustration!: astonished: We have Dreamweaver 8 along with started building a website on a demo of CS3. Well my trial is over and I’m to DW8, but now I can’t figure out how to create a multi-layer drop-down horizontal navigation bar without the application of the " Spry" instrument. A good example of what I’d like to see to create could be the menu bar on " subway. com". I used a spry menu from CS3 also it works in all I tested, even ie 5. 5. It uses a little bit of javascript with this. I’ve been setting up css only navbars these days but only sole level ones.

New web designer database help!!

My organization is a print graphic designer and have just started dabbling into web site design. I have successfully taught myself basic html not to mention designing the program. These are two sites i have done to date www. parplussupplies. com plus my personal internet site www. oliverdesigns. com just to offer an idea from the level I am at at the tables. We’ve a personal project that i am working on and need quite a few advice/help. This site require a search function where visitors can search a database and then narrow down their particular search from YOU to 4 parameters. Example: search by way of state or alphabetical get or size, or two or three variable etc, and so forth. Is this doable by way of novice and if you have can anyone provide me a basic outline of the way this works concerning how and where must put the records and possible a connection to a code that will access this records. the actual "design" of websites?

I am a pretty familiar with html and css. Also im getting really confident in this php/MySQL skills also. My only challenge is design. I browse this site alot and see some very amazing designs. Mine compared to theirs is novice. What tutorials may also help me learn about web site design. Please dont just simply point me into a photoshop tuts. I want something that basically teaches the " net side" of design and style. Are a person talking appearance or functionality and system Well i’ll do the functionality and i realize like basic layout(where choices should go in addition to stuff). It’s just creating those amazing graphics and identifying cool original suggestions. Gotcha. I think a good deal has to do with knowing the program you will be working with and the right way to really use the idea. I use Fireworks but the majority use Photoshop. They do many of the same things since they’re just related and suitable, but PS is often a notch above. Color combination is often a big key. I’m unsure if any associated with you ca assistance me or not necessarily but I’ll look at. My girlfriend is a intro to web site design class. They are applying 2 programs. Is Dreamweaver and additional is a program they use to set up the page. I’m unsure what it is known as but I speculate they create the website/page within this program then transfer it up to dreamweaver. I’m looking to buy both of this for her. Any thoughts on what it is Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, or InDesign could well be my guess. Possibly Photoshop. If it truly is, get ready to spend about $1000 for any two!

is there a program that can make a web template automatically?

I know we have a photoshop plugin labeled sitegrinder but is definitely is hard and it works badly. photoshop slices do only a part of the work as well as i cant create there kind of list of content articles or variable length cells. don’t you anyone know a software that may do the work i think you will need too long in fact it is too hard to produce a web design for any webpage. just how long it takes you make a template for the webpage i could do table much less, but tables to me are also ok to convert your psd to good quality web template such as for joomla or any cms, it will take 2 days. what i try to find is generate the process fast does it requires you also 2 days with thanks, Simon I agree with this….
