Help Me With My List of EVERY File Extension
Quite simply, I’m making a new log analyzer program (that is definitely the first decent one for under $500!!! ). I’m trying build a comprehensive list of every file extension on the net that indicates your page (and possibly not an image/plugin/etc. ). Here’s what I’ve so far: html htm shtml stm php pl cgi asp cfm (no extension) I had been wondering if people guys/girls can think about any I might have missed. (Note: It _will_ be possible for individuals to add extensions in the preferences, but in my own days doing website development I’ve learned to make things as automatic as you possibly can… there’s more Grandpa Bob’s within the ‘Net than you would imagine. So, I’d like to try and get as numerous extensions as I will. ) Oops, did not remember jsp… there’s additional. You’re missing a few hundred, although your search is at vain. If I wanted to I may possibly serve a PHP web page under page. mysuperextension merely wanted to… . aspx . shtm . ascx . php3 . php4 . php5 . jst The examples below formats also assistance ASCII output: . txt . htl . xml . vrml . sgml . … Continue reading

rollover text links – how to?
I have been previously wondering how to set-up those links which you see everywhere — the people that are bold to begin with but then when the mouse rolls around it becomes underscored as well as perhaps another colour. what do i need to do to achieve this thanks on your time! : p. azines. a simple example may be the CNN. com homepage — almost all links for headlines there are what i’m referring to (only backwards w/the underscore disappearing) you’ll want to use CSS:: . yourlink ANY font-family: Verdana; colour: blue; text-decoration: it’s unlikely that any; . yourlink ANY: hover colour: red; text-decoration: underline; Also you can have a stylesheet, this can save you having to key in the css code for each link and have it for the entire page! A good CSS resource is definitely W3Schools. They also provide guides to HTML CODE, Javascript, XML and much more. Just were going to say thanks for all those your guys’ help — They may be I’ve found the proper place to find answers. Have a great day… LANE This can be css code which could go in the head of the page OR for a seperate stylesheet…: … Continue reading

Web designer income
hey i got wondering if any person knows what the normal income would be for any website designer as well as a ballpark income intended for oh lets claim someone who operates for 2advanced or some brilliant studio like in which It varies a great deal that it’s hard to offer an " average". Few individuals are just " website designers". You have got designers that design and style websites, business credit cards, letter head, brochures, and many others. Then you have people that can code, design/maintain listings, etc. Most people choose to excel at instead of trying to be the top at both. Accordingly, look around this specific forum for identical questions (use this search feature). Here are a few interesting threads IMO. Well-known Web Designers 2Advanced thanx man u deserve a type of Turtle thigns lol This will depend of your design and style skills. If you might be also experienced in HTML, XML and Java Script you will earn more. Regards D. Actually, I’d say this will depend almost solely on your own business skills and hardly by any means on your designing skills usually. Being a designer is working hard, you have to get willing to … Continue reading

a question about Flash maintenance
I have been previously to at least twelve Flash designers’ website and in addition they all roughly say exactly the same thing.. WHY do Pen designers charge hence for doing Thumb maintenance/updating Is it a result of complexity of this Actionscript and animations For my current client a common thing I’m accomplishing is swapping a photo every month, and he quite simply wants the intro cartoon and actionscript functions to remain seated the same. To my opinion, I think it will be the Actionscript linked to every part on the Flash file, along with the time it would choose to use learn the actionscript enough in making changes to the item (my perspective, since My organization is only a beginner/intermediate Actionscript coder). HTML and CSS is virtually clear-cut. Change the attribute, save the idea, it instantly changes large of a font for example. Display.. lol Does anyone else agree how the foreseen/unforeseen complexity of Flash files bring on a higher charge How usually high That’s a professional web developers salary (assuming they’re freelance) Additionally, if a pen file is coded properly, it can always be managed with XML, thus a CMS and be as quick to update while this forum.

xhtml 1.1
do you find it worth it i could validate my internet site easily for xhtml A SINGLE. 1 but do you find it worth it heard that its definitely not too well established what everyone take on it positives an cons It’s a piece of cake. It’s just XHTML ONE. 0 Strict where everything that’s deprecated in actual fact not supported in any respect. Formally, it’s supposed to become even more XML-ish when compared with XHTML 1. 0. It’s my doctype of preference when circumstances allow it… although you will find one problem by using IE and XHTML A SINGLE. 1: http: //www. webdesignforums. net/showthread. phpt=25840 : thumbsup: must have really checked a person’s post 1st, kind regards Which doesn’t mean validating as correct XHTML is actually bad; -) Remember that since XHTML is definitely XML, you have to do things like <! CDATA stuff in Javascript rather than the old <! — –>. Not surprisingly, I don’t add JS in my code anymore, to ensure ain’t a problem! w00t.
