Weird bot hits on a website

Over a website I realize (call it site. com), over SIX HUNDRED hits were signed up with some seriously weird details: The many hits came were done while using the GET method, however the requested URLs were being all full URLs directed to subdomains regarding Yahoo. com. Good examples are: http: //login. tpe. aol. com http: //login. bjs. aol. com http: //login. korea. aol. com Once more, those were the particular GET REQUEST_URI values – which is, the bot was requesting a TRAFFIC from another website, not from website. com. These were not HTTP referrer ideals. The many hits came via same remote coordinator, a subdomain identify from charter. com. It could be a hacking attempt (this is in fact a deliberate request for any clearly wrong page), but I am not 100% convinced of your theory. This can be baffling me, as We have never seen such behavior. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Im creating a site which has a big number associated with pages. When a end user types a word related to what they wish to find, (eg. " Bar" ), they should be moved with a new page with a listing of all pages along with that word within them. eg. I enter " Bar" in the text box while i click search a listing of all the bars created on the upcoming page… I recognize HTML well and Javascript not so well. I recognize that i require meta tags considering the main words around each page. (ie. activity, bar, nightlife, drink, etc… ). Can somebody say to me the code required for this search serp and how is it possible to display different results for the same url web site. Hello I started a group on yahoo messenger about 6 weeks ago plus it took off definitely well but lets face it ayhoo can be pretty crap. How do you add those temporary floating windows seen in commercial sites?

Many sites now showcase a floating eye-port (splash screen) which can be an advertisement for any limited amout of their time before disappearing. I don’t know what this is known as but I’d like to know how it is done. I’m sure splash screens aren’t a huge hit, but my web page takes a few seconds to load up and I need to to provide a brief window which pops up upon first visit and the quickly disappears after a matter of seconds.
