What should MY SPOUSE AND I do now Must i try and piece the image as well as drop the slices into table cells or A few pointer leave it as one big image I’ll be using DW MX to edit the HTML before uploading to your server.
I might splice the header and keep the main body for image. Something that way looks good usually though

Update: Would I become better removing the text links coming from my image and by using a stylesheet with a slice because the bg for that cell

I noticed this after exporting the slices to DW we cannot add written content to any cellular material unless I change the table cells as bg images without the < image src= tags.

Rather than using the overall slice, you only will need the bg image with the cell to be One or two pixels wide. This would save on downloading it time signifcantly. The information is a same all the way across, the gradient changes colors when you move down.
