I’d like an opinon to the menu and layout on the website that I can create. My target audience is Silver browsers, 40+. It is approximately the History regarding Technology and the best way trends developed to create more technology. I would like it to appear to be a book, where it opens up as a book, but actaully upon web, using html and css. Concerning thought about applying Flash, but I read article that flash tend to make it look problematic to silver surferes, I want comments on the menu in the top, I get created a prototype utilizing Power point 07. There are usually some mootools, jsquery form of animations for web sites. Like that: http: //www. sitepoint. com/examples/jquery/animate4. php There exists a problem with doing such as that… It’s not necessary to want your pages to get just images. You choose actual text content material. Using graphic images for ones text causes search results problems. Thus, I would say don’t use anything that requires that kind of coding, as a substitute, go for a new plain website having " prev" " next" web site navigation. Create a fine background template which they can use for each internet … Continue reading

I recently separated from the military and have been on " hiatus" for a little just one year and I’m ready to improve with my living. I am thinking of getting a web pattern degree through Complete Sail’s online course. If you provide me any good advice please do especially if you have done something with these. I know that Full Sail will get talked down plenty mainly due to the price tags within the degrees… but if money wasn’t a difficulty how does the program rate with others that you can get online (Art Institute, etc). Have you been planning on focusing with web design, or web development Website design is more about how precisely the site seems, graphics, photoshop, styles, CSS, etc. Web Development is all about the back-end development and how them works… PHP/MySQL, XHTML, XML, Javascripting and also CMS Systems Web sites are about both of those, but not very most people are proficient in both. In your explanation, I’m guessing you would like to be more straight into graphic design. Just understand that web sites will be about both … Continue reading

What is diffrence between table and div desing?

Hi there, I’m totaly brand new at div & css design and style, so please say to me why the first is better from a further This dates back to the original browsers plus the beginning of CODE… < table> was originally designed to display " tabular" facts. Such as a list of things from a database, possibly your calendar (with solar cells horizontal and vertical), and displays and information who have a " grid" or perhaps " list" like layout. As web sites became more intricate and stylish, folks started using tables to position areas of content. The layout was no longer " tabular", women and men use associated with tables allowed folks to section-off locations and images. CSS (cascade model sheets) came down and offered a wider variety of layout methods. The < div> has been a " division" or section of content and could be placed anywhere you want to. It can end up being selectively styled (fonts, backdrop, colors, padding, etc). CSS may also be stored in any. css file, and referenced on just about every page. That means every page on the website can make use of the same CSS document. If you adjust one … Continue reading

Ive tested out doing < a href=". /.. /test. cfm" > but this seems to use the path from the page im in (i thought it used the road of the includes directory) I am using coldfusion btw. I realize how to do this within php, but cant quite have the CF equiv. No, always uses the page use as a reference point. It’s not any PHP or CF thing, it’s an HTML CODE thing. More really simply a folder directory matter actually I found the most effective to this. In php it had been actually $SERVERDOCUMENT_ROOT + method to file. THis … Continue reading
