GAP in NESTED TABLES/SHIM PIXEL?

Hello all, An image i sliced in Photoshop then imported in to Dreamweaver is expressing little white dots within the right edge, just the place that the slice borders tend to be. I set all cellspace/borders to 0 and made sure the cell was the exact size of the image however the dots still remained. Make sure you see the linked image. I’ve seen threads on some forums saying that is a " shim" artwork creating extra breathing space. People have solved this challenge by deleting that column containing the particular shim pixels or maybe deleting spacer. gif, but after i do so all slices fall out of alignment. How to get rid from the shim graphic so that you will find there’s clean edge I’d very much value some guidance. Bless you, Cecille I’m not confident what I’m said to be looking at the following, those links just check out a website…. Hello there, my freebie hosting company is redirecting to their main page (grrrrr! ) I’ve attached the images towards the message above. Bless you. Code to place website so that it flushes next to browser window & doesn’t leave space

Hello there – I’m doing website for any project, and need to learn the proper coding (or exactly where to define inside a css) so that the borders of this website are flushed up against the browser window in the top and kept sides, and will not leave " light space". I identified table properties with my stylesheet when follows: #table margin: 0px; eventually left: 0px; best: 0px; proper: 0px; underlying part: 0px; however that didn’t aid. bless you Show us a check out the website so we are able to see how you might have it layed-out. With no seeing it, there’s almost no we can do. I don’t have it on a server yet. It’s for just a class, which will be posted on the school server, which isn’t accessible. I thought there was clearly a universal coding for positioning to ensure it flushes accordingly. It’s just any basic layout with table and major navigation. My instructor included it in school (it was the one thing I didn’t put in writing! ) There isn’t a universal " coding"… because it’s not necassary to be using < table> tags pertaining to page layout. Always be using CSS (cascade model … Continue reading

Navigtation and borders (two seperate questions)

A SINGLE. How do I create a menu I need all the " Reycling services" stuff in http: //renewcomputers. com/ for being in a palate that appears after they mouse over this Recycling Services planning. I curently have a horizontal navbar. i acquired the code from your tutorial (and changed it a whole lot so its definitely not plagiarism and i learned it not just copied it) You are considering a mouseover consequence. Yes, there’s a CSS method to do it far too, but the CSS way does not work properly timers into result and I’ve never been a big fan of that personally. If you would like see how it really is done with keys to press, go to http: //www. kastlefireplace. com/ where Truly used it with the left side list. You can undertake it with hovering as well, but I would recommend it in case someone hovers covering the wrong menu item in error. I’m trying to make it to ensure that it shows additional options instead of a description while, (which is what exactly did on this site looks like) Thanks for bothering to help me, by the approach. borders around a cell

Hie guys take place a put county around a cellular, i dont necessarily mean the borders which you define for some sort of table, those versions dont usually appear nice, but i have seen some websites which have nice looking curved edges borders all-around some areas like within the picture that we have attached…… any thoughts It’s executed using CSS: Some generators this make the CSS for yourself… http: //www. the search engines. com/searchq=css rounded sides generator& btnG=Search See how it is done and you can create them yourself. Nearly all of what you tend to be pointing out tend to be images, they don’t work with CSS for that will, Developing a border like that is definitely usually very simple for most image editing programs. I use an only version involving fireworks, just choose the box design tool, draw that box, there usually a setting with the corner radius configurations, 0 = simply no rounding, just move the amount up based for the rounding effect needed. Most smaller containers like those in the pics are as being a 3-4 radius next corner. The larger the particular box, the more you can round it and it also look nice. Gives … Continue reading

Homepage design tips wanted

Suggestions my site: http: //barkinanime. site50. net/ Please give me any suggestions on making the homepage or maybe other pages additional visually appealing Look for a better WordPress concept. That one just isn’t very flattering. It is possible to upload a different theme and test that out without wrecking your existing concept. Are there virtually any specific things that make it bad Because i will not want a theme somebody else made. If you tell me i could truthfully fix it me personally It’s look kind of " dated", like the borders, grayish colorings, etc. The content looks more exciting compared to site design. I’m not just a graphic designer, therefore I probably should not even say anything at all. To be able to change stuff (CSS), first display a page on your own browser, view your HTML source, and appearance for the " id" as well as " class" tags that trapp the part you need to change. Evaluate the various. css files inside your theme’s CSS folder… locate those " id" as well as " class" houses, and you’ll view what the style properties are. Walking contradiction… What Change your fonts and populate the empty places. You can … Continue reading
