some dreamweaver help

i need a little bit of dreamweaver help in this article… i’m trying to be able to align links for example " close window" in addition to " next page" towards bottom of a fresh browser window. the window is created from the script pertaining to " open fresh browser window", and it is just a specific size. i just need the links to stay in the very same place (bottom with window) with each and every new window in which pops up. we have no friggin’ vision, and ANY help would be great. thank you… btw, here is the site i’m focusing on, and the windows open once you click on the buttons that are within the iframe… http: //www. spireintegrated. com/ good.. i don’t find the links on your site that you might have having trouble by using (so, i’m betting you havn’t published that part yet) Anyhow, if you position the links in a table which is in pixels instead of percent, it won’t maneuver.. and that should help your difficulty. ooooh! i didn’t know the images could select to *sorry* right now i see.. i would try setting the specified height towards table above that. Then, … Continue reading

Heading banner

Let’s pretend you make a banner in photo shop that’s 900 odd pixels huge. It is obvious so it will only healthy a resolution of 1024 x 768. What I have done in an attempt to make a banner ad fit most resolutions should be to make the screaming in two parts. I put them right two columned stand with cell spacing along with padding set at Zero. The table is defined at 100% to ensure it shows about all resolutions accordingly. I was only wondering if this is the proper way to do it, or is there a healthier way. Ironside, I might definitely not understand the question correctly but if you already split a 900 something pixel huge image into a couple images, it’s width continues to 900 something pixels. A table arranged at 100% thickness will stretch for you to fill a browser window when the elements inside are smaller than the window width. However if it consists of two images in whose total width can be 900px, then the minimum width will be 900px irrespective of whether the browser is usually 1024 or 640. Does that make sense In a nutshell, I’m not responsive to any … Continue reading

Width of content area

Each time a site has some sort of fixed-width content area that is definitely centered in the particular browser window, will be optimal width of their area I know this is mostly a matter connected with opinion, but I’m curious what individuals think. For instance, check out http: //www. mcsweeneys. net/, which is just about the narrowest I’ve found. And there’s this url, which has your pretty wide subject matter area. I’m trying to decide on that width of my personal internet site, which is the following: http: //nocloset. net/. At the moment it’s set on 551px. Any opinions can be welcome. Trouble with a fixed-width content area is, even when it looks ultra-wide to help someone on 800×600 res, someone with 1280×1024 (or, the almighty forbid, 1600×1200) can think it’s tiny. This is exactly why even in these cases it becomes good to look at a percentage. Your first example, I do think, is far far too narrow — excessive scrolling for me. Your second model isn’t linked in. Your site is seen as a little wider, I do think. My second model was literally this url (webdesignforums. net)! These have a fixed width for that content area that … Continue reading

Amazing SEO!

So I will be doing some analysis on billboards, along with I type " billboard design" in the Google search club. One of the very best hits is this website. Looking through that source, I’m qualified to see why they’re so high way up there… it’s almost all SEO! I wish Possible say more about the remaining portion of the site. It has become the most annoying sites that i have ever found. And the bloody matter kept re-sizing the browser window. Wow that looks like crap. Hey, out of intense curiosity, anyone know why you will find mountains moving around inside intro: -D: -D Features someone submitted this specific to webpagesthatsuck I can if I at any time can. This place is a lot like utter… urm… understanding that resizing is and so annoying.

auto resize

What makes one make an affiliate site resize like this In the event you drag the corner of this browser window to change the dimensions, the site automatically adjusts to suit. http: //www. ericogden. com Examine the code underneath. In essence, you set that width and elevation to 100% meaning that if it will get resized it must be 100% of what it may be (the size in the resized window). HTML: < html> < head> < title> resize< /title> < type type=" text/css" > physique height: 100%; #content elevation: 100%; text-align: core; < /style> < /head> < body> < div id=" content" > < dining room table width=" 100%" height=" 100%" > < tr align=" center" valign=" middle" > < td> Hello< /td> < /tr> < /table> < /div> < /body> < /html> That page specially is Flash where the component is set to utilize the entire viewport, which is why it doesn’t only center, but this scales. That didn’t improve me. : unhappy: That’s a little bit advanced for me at the moment, but if you could have words of wisdom on how to attract to this place; that would end up being awesome! What does one mean … Continue reading

But I thought that in case you used STRICT XHTML after that link targets are not allowed Diddy… you might be correct. An alternative is always to use Javascripting. Newb working out the kinks

I have taken over our companies website (we are small and not looking to pay a reliable web designer, sorry) with the basic html awareness I learned in one section of the college course. We were using a bad website creation program i always can’t recall right this moment because I in no way touched it; Coursesmart that had been created for it was hideous and I want to to start through scratch. Basically I understand up enough in html and css to create a much nicer site than we had which is adequate for what we are doing, but you can find one issue i always can’t seem to find a consistent resolution for. I’m affraid which it’s probably a far more complicated solution than I want to dive into, but I’d at the least like to recognize. The main problem I am having is the site looks great once the browser window will be maximized, but once you shrink it, everything starts wrapping to stay in your window. Pretty much any website I view on-line does not make it happen. what I imply is, when you shrink the eyeport, things may correct but some stuff is take off … Continue reading

lcd vs crt

hi since i moved to an intel mac as well as a new flat tv screen lcd monitor, everything within the screen is blocky in addition to blurred at 1024 back button 768 and EIGHT HUNDRED x 600. Only when i switch in order to 1680 x 1050 it becomes ok. I want to design at 1024 back button 768 as this can be a most used establishing today. Ive tried adjusting settings on my mac and within the monitor itself but no joy. I posted this issue in the macintosh forum and manged to get this response – " Any LCD should look blocky and blurred or even set to its native resolution. To see how a page will appear using a lower resolution present, reduce the size with the browser window, or purchase a CRT display, which will be sharp on any resolution. " I thought crt’s were now something of the earlier, which is why manged to get an lcd. My monitor is really a samsung SM226BW 22" widescreen lcd observe. Can someone say to me what i could do to rectify this or, if my monitor is really a load of garbage. If my monitor could … Continue reading

The Perfect Dimensions of A Webpage (Mine Are Crap)

Hi I’m making a webpage using dreamweaver cs3 and I’ve got all the site desgin, flow and framework sorted but once i created a internet page I used this dimensions 800 times 600 px because We were told that these where the best dimenions with the web. Now what Now i’m left with is some white space on the side of your page. What need is the site to fill the actual browser space….. I’ll attach a new screen shot in order that its even more clear what I’m talking about. 800 pixels widths are OK… You may center that SIX HUNDRED pixel page with any size cell phone…. wrapping all this inside a div of which gets centered on the browser: body perimeter: 0px auto; text-align: heart; content wider: 800px; text-align: kept; < body> < div id=" center" > … anything in here < /div> < /body> Cool but what about the white area WITH THANKS The reason the truth is white space to the side of your internet site in the browser is because your screen resolution is focused to something large than 800 back button 600. A person which includes a screen resolution of 800 x 600 … Continue reading
