Sub-domains
We’ve never learned the way web masters utilize sub domains. I have always just applied domain masking in order to hide my particular urls. This, then again, leaves me with all the appearance of one url for many my sites’ web pages. Can someone explain slightly about how sandwich domains are applied I haven’t your clue, having arrived on the internet about 98′-99′ I probably missed the explanation. I might not be the best human being to explain here, but I can give it a wack. Sub-domains permit you to create a url (without requiring you to register it) that could point to a directory. An example of its utilize… say you have got forums at your web blog. Wrather that normal http: //www. yoursite. com/forums/, you may set a sub-domain to point for the forums directory as well as change the above to http: //forums. yoursite. com It sometimes causes it to be easier to provide url’s to people if you possibly could simplify them as a result of sub-domains. How much is fair to charge for this site?
I’m creating a faily simple website for your start-up law company (a friend regarding mine who’s an intern there encouraged me), but I have no clue how much an internet site . like that expenses. I’ve made internet sites before, but not for the money. I gotta name the guy later this morning to negotiate the retail price, but I don’t even know very well what number to start from. And here is their old site: http: //www. fkmiplaw. com/ Here’s the brand new one I’m working away at: http: //www. pegasus. rutgers. edu/alexkr/website2/index. html It’s made with tables now (faster to me to design), but I’ll redo it with CSS. Oh and it is just a New York company. many thanks The different site looks outstanding, for reference. Also, designing first with tables and then with CSS may be about as inefficient since it gets. But this aside You will discover about twenty 1 , 000 different threads lying around about how much to ask for. Do a search and you’ll find they all Thanks Accurate. I did that will because I wasn’t very informed about CSS once. It was faster to me to just perform the table system … Continue reading

apartment locator site?
We have a client does anyone want a website much like rent. com. It could include a searchable database for a condo and sending a scheduled appointment request form to not only the condominium managers, but into a website database likewise. He would like and therefore have apartment administrators sign in as well as make changes therefore to their apartment information (photos, special offers, etc. ) And lastly, he would for a system to trail what apartments were actually moved into so they can cut checks on the apartments. Do you have any recommendations on tips on how to approach this project Possibly there is a template to choose from to help type the site’s structure Any help is liked. Many thanks. A list and server-side script method. It can have rather complex. Are you farmiliar with PHP, ASP, or any server-side scripting terms not the clue, unfortunately. I guess this kind of seems more as being a job I have to subcontract out.

I’ve a problem using this type of site. It ought not go to that will page, and I can’t find that page in the particular file manager, and I do not have a clue what exactly the file title is. When you decide to go to that web page it should mimic this. Learn how to find out the particular file name, where that page came from, and how do i keep something in this way from happening for a second time. when you do not put a filename including you did now there with http: //www. sacred-connections. us/ you’re free to the " default" page which can be usually index. html or. htm or perhaps. php (whatever this host has this setup) so… http: //www. sacred-connections. us/ and http: //www. sacred-connections. us/index. html are the same thing. I’ve an index. html, which until today have been the default. In case you click on the two links you should see 2 different pages… at least I do. The Christmas page came from nowhere (that site has never had a Christmas theme, it has usually been green and also purple). When people enter www. sacred-connections. us all, they should obtain the … Continue reading
