Did you try reducing the very best: 366px to 345px maybe As well as, what a clutter of code! You should certainly clean that ” up “! Harmonic’s onto something with the " mess with code" comment. I understand this is your current first try, nonetheless it looks like somebody or something (i. e. a program) assisted you. Your big issue is the fact that you’re trying for being pixel-perfect with points and use utter positioning where it does not work or suit. Using Dreamweaver MX should I upgrade?

With the last several years We’ve been using dreamweaver MX. But lately more people are asking me to style websites for these people or help preserve their sites. Will Dreamweaver CS5 benefit cross browser if it is compatible testing than MX does My business is also getting more into using CSS now besides tables. It really varies according to how much you recognize about HTML and also CSS, if anyone dont really realize code standards, I would recommend you upgrade. The later variants of DreamWeaver will support code snippets plus hints more based on today’s code benchmarks (such as xHTML4 in addition to CSS3). That technique, when DreamWeaver facilitates with coding, it will be using up-to-date specifications, and not old standards which can be now becoming deprecated. Thanks that tends to make perfect since what you said. I am so glade I did this posting our code. I am embarassed but glade. I have never made numerous errors in a small amount of code before. Small space between header and maincontent…help?

I can not figure out what the matter is here – there appears to be a 1px breathing space between the header and also maincontent and I have no idea of what to tweak to clear out that. Can anyone assist Website: www. fallick. com/welsh. html Thanks earlier! You’ve received some really perplexing CSS, dude, and several of it can be unnecessary. Preload images or use a status bar to indicate page load progress?

Howdy, I’m redesigning my own site for a change and still have decided to use Simple Controls Gallery for the image viewing (it’s some sort of photography website). Nonetheless, it’s taking around 10 seconds for any gallery to initialise. We have 52 images up to now, all " saved for web" through Photoshop to minimize size. I think preloading the images would be counter productive as which is what the JS gallery script does on. Is there a way of integrating some sort of status bar and also countdown clock if anyone else is to see while the gallery initialises And here is the link: http: //www. 17minutes. company. uk/ Many thanks, Lol Are you sure it’s your images causing the condition and not the gallery If it’s the images, preload them independently without the gallery and display them over a page. No strange effects or anything at all… just the FIFTY TWO images on 1 page. This noises excessive, but you’re wanting to determine whether it’s the images or the gallery that is the problem. I suspect it’s the gallery, even with FIFTY TWO server calls to receive those images. Another thing you could possibly do is weight a … Continue reading

My Contact Form is all jacked up in IE… help!

I’m IE-debugging my website at this time, and I’ve find a couple glaring difficulties with my contact web site and I really don’t even know where to begin with. The text is aligned on the top of the inputs instead of centered and the particular scroll bar is visible if or not it’s needed, however most glaringly, the PNG transparency about the submit button just isn’t working correctly. That one boggles my imagination, as I’m making use of transparent PNGs throughout the site and this can be a only one that’s having any problems rendering.
