Proposal Help

We all got an RFP today coming from a local University in which wants redesign its site, which includes several thousand records, and 60, 000 " pages" (meaning that you will discover 60, 000 internal links on the webpage… though not all are unique pages. Most are data-driven sub-pages), which includes: Information Architecture redesign (navigation in addition to content) Graphic Design Template Design Database Integration Content Supervision System (CMS) Integration (or development) We’ve never had to make a proposal on a really large project, and honestly have no clue what to bid about it. Anyone have any idea what something like that would bid out for.

Quick Template Question

I am not that fantastic at graphic style and design, but I’m good with Template building. I was woundering the following… If I created twelve or so templates in FrontPage, would it be advisable if I created how do i show them out of, and possible sell them in the near future I what happens I’m really asking is this… Is FrontPage an excellent enough program to begin this in, or regarded as a use Dreamweaver or perhaps something else Templates generally require graphics, and neither Frontpage or perhaps Dreamweaver are ideal for designing templates. Photoshop is typically the most popular program used pertaining to designing templates. I’m curious to check out some of your templates in case you say you’re certainly not great at graphic design, but for you to design alot involving templates. IMO, designing templates depends upon graphic design. Well After all I’m not proficient at designing logos, banners, for example for sites… only the basic structure layouts.

MY SPOUSE AND I always thought graphic design was beneficial, until everyone explained it wasn’t. My personal teacher, who, in no way, knows ASP, always mentions the money with ASP. PHP will be my thing, as well as the money isn’t awful (far from fine though.. ). Just curious to view what your oppinion is usually. What’s the most profitable skillset with regard to.

Like I’m wishing to base my personal future career on web development, graphic design, and video services that we think I excell during. With the looks of this, this type of business seems like an extremely hard to work for on their own in. What do a person guys think is usually a fair estimate for your yearly salary after the ups and downs of the business Otherwise I would consider getting lisenced users certifications and feeding off a big company with a new guaranteed salary and health care and all that jazz. Who appreciates… This thread discusses designing for the living in interesting depth. It’s VERY ambitious, but there’s a fact that it. You will definitely diversify yourself, and get a college degree, so you’re marketable inside a field other when compared with IT. This way when the economy’s bad and you can’t get portion of in the THE IDEA sector, you can atleast have a decent job that will requires a school education.

I thought We would start this thread because I had been wondering who exactly about this forum does web designing for any living. I am only 15 years of age and am looking towards webdesign for the possible carrear, and Im continually being told in which there is a handsome profit involved with webdesign. Then again, this forum in this article and other on the internet has thousands and a large number of webdesigners on these people, and it cause you to be think by the time I am definitely old enough to try and do it as a full time income, (after college and university) if you experience still going in the form of big demmand with regard to websites. ALL RIGHT. This is gonna be understood as a really stupid question but I need to know the answer. How, in business, ever " work" visual design. I signify, like what exactly is it is it logos, banners, pics or what Furthermore, how would POST sell graphic style. Would I like sell many of images on CD If so what images would I don there Or would certainly I sell tailor-made images, the client tells me what they would like and I’ll allow it to become What happens easily can’t make it I’m just confused, that is definitely all. I said ‘somewhat’ because Relating to done enough sites but this town (and all others from now on) I plan to be completely original (not manufactured from a template). Becoming a better designer

I have been recently a coder in the past 6 years or perhaps so, but We have not really took an enormous step into the earth of graphics, that’s why when my (or someones) website is finished, you will discover normally no layouts, and if you will discover graphics, they usually are not of the best value. Concept to graphics stage questions.

This will likely seem like a silly question to a few, and to be honest I suppose I can work it away myself. But I simply just thought that in the event that I’m gonna do that then I am gonna still do it. We have a concept idea for the website for your friends company and want to integrate html, adobe flash and css. Now I am new to many of the above technologies but I will be very familiar using graphic design, so the graphics will be no issue. I am looking for the needed procedure for producing the graphics for that site. Should I create them as a whole image and cut, or create specific images and area them as needed Up coming its flash/fireworks doubts: Can css be used with flash animations to get text based aspects of the sites just as transitions and dies out and stuff.
