I sort of expected Mr. Melts away (Springfield Nuclear Electrical power Plant) for you to pop in in addition to greet me. These have that sort with green, radiation plasma form thing going. I realize J. Dot….. a bit more pastel and sanitary look can be better. And also I totally detest frames (my personal opinion). Help persuading no AJAX!!

I’ve been working on the website for a time now, it’s an attention of mine and perhaps they are the biggest website online for this unique interest. I do a reasonable amount of coding job, free of ask for, because i enjoy it. Unfortunately they have decided they want to gain to use AJAX to help load page!! Concerning given them the normal reasons not to use it e. gary. back button. bookamrking and many others. but they will be insisting on deploying it. They are using it because they won’t have to load the header, sidebar, nav and many others. more then once. They are convinced it is just a brilliant idea but i realize they are jumping for the AJAX bandwagon. I really don’t want them to achieve this but they may not be listening to me and they are convinced they understand best. Basically I was wondering if any person could provide some ideas in an attempt to make them alter their minds before they are doing this!! Thanks 1. It truly is completely reliant upon Javascript. TWO. It won’t develop most past, quite a few current, and several future browsers. 3. It is inaccessible. Thanks for … Continue reading

No scroll 800 X 600 – even possible?!

Greetings all. Here’s my own problem: I’m making the fresh site for my personal church. The man who is essentially directing me informs me that he wants it to fit into an 800 X 600 res minus the window scrolling. He wants the nav for the screen at all times, and he desires a scrolling box to the content. I’ve been enjoyable the man for a little bit with the notion because he would seem really adamant about this, but now Now i’m thinking that it’s more or less impossible. I think just about any normal user of the site will probably have 768 X 1024 as a minimum, so I wish to throw away EIGHT HUNDRED X 600. Can it be just me, or are his goals with this layout unrealistic Looking at the max dimensions at 800 BACK BUTTON 600, the site must fit into some sort of 770 X 430 px common box! Therefore, any idea what I should do or tell him I must mention that dropping him is just not an option. Effectively, there are stats somewhere nevertheless 1024×768 is now a more common resolution in comparison with 800×600. I think a vey important thing … Continue reading

As well as is 2-3 days off completion and i’d rather the design debut on my site as an alternative to someone else’s: smoker: The question describes the part that’s obscured. I want this to possibly be an optional secondary navigation. The idea of it is that it displays links which often makes the article easier to find their way. Saying this a possibility essential and thus i need the user every single child hide it. I don’t want to use flash, concerning seen a few sites use this with javascript. No less than i think the javascript. Has anyone done this without flash Do you know the limitations of doing the work this way Can easily anyone recommend virtually any tutorials That’s often achieved with getting some sort of opaque div (i. age., setting a div to look at up the whole screen and giving it the opacity of might be 0. 5 or whatever it becomes somewhat see-through). Assuming that’s what people mean. And even display: none, display: block rollover thingy : although that didn’t develop ie6, … Continue reading

Looks good but shouldnt this has been posted in hows our site well i contemplated that, but after looking at the blurb of the starting out segment: i felt that this was more ideal Yes, that definitely belongs the following. How’s My Site ought to be for *finished* web sites, as I understand it, which is the reason I’m often tempted to maneuver threads from around there to around here: -P Of course, How’s My Site is perfect for designs already applied into (X)HTML plus hopefully CSS. Static images associated with designs belong these or in other forums here since you can’t rate aspects such as download speed, handiness, and browser compatibility with a screenshot. ye seems to make more sense these days So, what can you all think I do believe it looks lovable… But it appears so simple. Is there going to become nav bar as well as anything yep, i’ve made a brand new one with nav that i’ll upload while … Continue reading
