RSS feed? need help
http: //bizsms. tgisms. com I’m publishing RSS feeds for this site. But the feeds dont are most often working. Bloglines. com cannot find them. Firefox discover them, but says " Live bookmark feed failed to load" Can someone please check it out for me With thanks Seems to get something about a person’s auto-detect. Your file format looks good, and follows spec – such as go here and you will probably see bloglines can find the feed excellent. It’s my opinion your link tags are the culprit. Check out my verizon prepaid phone: Code: < link rel=" alternate" type=" application/rss+xml" title=" RSS 2. 0" href=" http: //www. warpspire. com/wp-rss2. php" /> It’s got a different type and also, remember to nearby your tags ( /> ) Try that out and examine if it solves it Howdy Brak, Thanks for your help. I shut the tag, and also changed my kind from " application+xml" in order to " application/rss+xml" So that they now work.: common: Shot for your help.

Finally…DSL
Heya all… Im finally becoming DSL and I was questioning a few answers with a few questions in the event anyone wants to make the effort to answer these people. First off, theres not really a phone line within my room however theres one inside room across the hall so precisely how will they get everything create i. e this router etc. Furthermore, I have ONLY TWO seperate phone lines for the net and house telephone so will they probably want me to reduce the internet line or stick with it My main issue is how will they obtain router and everything developed when the closest phone jack/line can be approximately 15 foot away Thanks for the time and solutions… it really allows me prepare!! –Kevin Phone cables are very long. They’ll just work a cable recommended to their modem and join the modem for your computer either by simply USB or ethernet (hopefully the latter). DSL doesn’t require dedicated entry to a phone collection like dial-up. You’ll be able to talk on exactly the same line as the anchor text. 15 foot is nothing, you’ll be able to easily set upward the system inside other room after which you … Continue reading

my own web server
how could i set up my very own web server by using a spare computer to get free(no expensive application. the item runs on glass windows 98, is previous, but still operates Windows 98 is not good for hosting (or, you already know, using a computer). Install Windows NT, Glass windows 2000 (better), or Windows 2003 (best when you can support it) as well as Apache. However, don’t do it except for private testing use: You should pay for the bandwidth. The majority of hosts cap this upload bandwidth carefully and don’t allow servers. If you finance hosting, they recognize more about safety than you. i likewise have an xp computer system. what could my spouse and i do with which why would i only put it to use for testing uses only I’m saying that a host whose business it truly is to serve web pages will have extra experience and competence than you (no offense) at running a server. Plus, you would need to get a company ISP like Comcast Organization or Verizon Business to have sufficient upload, plus be legally allowed to run the servers to start with.

The contract would need to cover the scope from the project. The client need to be allowed to consult to change the scope but while doing so you should have the right to reject these changes or increase the price of the project to cater for any change. You must also say how the client will pay and what will happen if they do not pay. With not a contract people are just visiting take you for the ride. We should be specify … Continue reading

Need help with layout problem
We’ve a layout problem that i can’t figure away. I had our company website all complete and it looked great, or even so I believed. I designed this using Frontpage THE YEAR 2003 then cleaned in place the bloated Code Frontpage tends to be able to leave behind. I checked the site on IE7, Firefox, plus Netscape. It considered fine, functioned as Needed and I thought We were done. The problem- Thought about a visitor email me which includes a complaint about the website as a jumbled up, unreadable play. Pictures were overlapping wording, none of the actual < div> were where they were said to be or anything. It looked great on all three browsers i checked. I could not see a one problem. I examined it on my own 19" monitor, some sort of 17" monitor during both 800×600 res and on 1024×768, Still no problems I could truthfully see. I discovered the email was bogus. I checked that on another pc that used AOL plus it was a wreck! I saw anything the emailer explained! My first thought was ?t had been strictly an AOL issue but then I noticed the email came from verizon. net, meaning … Continue reading

Help? Ripped off?
Greetings All, I do certainly not do sites by professionals and I have no idea what the going rate is, but a buddy of mine said today what he covered his site a year ago and I assume after checking them out he got scammed! could someone you need to tell me what a fair price would have been for the site. Maybe We are missing something that might explain it and My business is wrong in my own assumption. If not would you at least send me in the right direction so I will tell him what he really should have paid so he will not get ripped out of again. While i tell you simply how much he paid your gonna choke from laughing hence hard that a person had the nerve in order to charge it knowning that he actually paid out him! Thank your to your help! Sue the connection to the site is usually www. tower-recon. com whats the connection to the site he ‘copied’ and the designers portfolio Sorry I may not have explained me correctly, they failed to rip off the theory or content, they charged him an amount that i think should … Continue reading

Fixed width…what’s the catch???
Part of this can be a last post to another thread I am in but I am really hoping someone — anyone — can help me get that. I’m working on a screen that may be apparently 1400px wide (don’t knowledge mine is a lot larger than usual given that I am just on my older laptop that’s over 4 years of age and wasn’t anything special while i bought it). I’m using Firefox THREE. 0. 8. Here’s among what’s confusing me… look at the site – diyhomesavvy. com – then at recipegirl. com. We’re both using fixed width layouts and firebug affirms her’s is 984px wide and mine’s 980px wide but when i compare the two using the same browser around the same screen her’s looks in excess of 4px wider compared to mine. Quarry has about COUPLE OF. 5 – 3" on either side on the wrapper and recipegirl solely has about ONE PARTICULAR. 5 – ONE. 75" on also side. Can anyone you should explain what’s taking place , with this You should help Looks pretty close to the exact same width on FF A COUPLE OF. 0. 0. 20 Perhaps it’d serve you to apply a … Continue reading
