Turning a jpg into html document
Ok I have reated a lyout regarding my site inside photshop, have seen no option saving it as a. html so MY PARTNER AND I saved it as being a. jpg I which to help edit it using dreamweaver just how do i do it Most of comments are welcome pls support You aren’t able to edit a JPEG throughout Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver may be for editing code (text), this can’t do anything with graphics apart from insert them making use of HTML syntax. What program did you have to create that layout If it absolutely was Photoshop, you really need to slice it ” up ” first, and then visit File > Help you save for Web. There are series on slicing layouts in photoshop on the internet, and I believe there’s one in WDF’s series section.

Pay Scale???
I am wondering how considerably I should charge someone for making a website for their business. It is usually an independant business, they actually construction work. If anyone knows an online site I could head to to look this up that will be even better. Work out an hourly rate claim $20 think how much time it’ll decide to use make the site, say 10 hrs. Take this number at 50-75% for any flat fee. Which is how I accomplish them anyway. Charge what they will pay. I consider Brak. If you’re carrying out a site for your own neighbor, you’d charge these say a $200 on your time. If you’re doing a site for Microsoft alternatively, would you even now charge them $200 Make an effort to estimate how valueable their website is usually to them, and impose them accordingly. Don’t be afraid to inquire about a reasonably higher amount. You can generally negotiate downwards if you’re forced to, but you won’t be able to negotiate upwards. I wouldn’t have said to use an hourly quote. Come up that has a cost that you believe the business will be able, as well as one that gives anyone enough money … Continue reading

‘Web Design Business Kit’
Definitely, I was wanting to know if anyone possesses ever tried Brendon Sinclair’s Website design Business Kit It seems a bit overpriced, but must pay off eventually if its all them to say it is.. Any one I just simply downloaded the demo version, ie the handful of basic chapters to check out what its just like, it seems pretty cool, but only were you then We’d download it first to discover what you assume. http: //www. sitepoint. com/books/freelance1/signoff. php – and here , you can acquire the trial from. Also in order to think about buying it, read a few of his articles on Website design and Contracts etc prior to deciding to consider it… If anyone would like to EDIT: post requests intended for illegal activities on WDF in the foreseeable future, consider first the fact that thread will always be locked by Wired whilst your post will end up being edited by Transio to produce you look for a fool. Which is illegal. Thread made.
Section 508
Obviously, it is not 508-compliant to acquire an input area of type " password. " The key reason why God Bless The usa… land that MY PARTNER AND I laugh at. Certainly, I don’t realize that much about the main 508 thing given that I’m Canadian and since it may not be a big matter yet here, nonetheless I can’t view " password" becoming non-508-compliant. http: //www. section508. gov does it right there in their website (although they also have a ridiculous Javascript alert field that pops up every time you click with an external website link. ) The encryption of the actual visible characters inhibits readers from examining them back, and that is considered a problem Needless to say, I would think it might be MORE of a challenge for a reader that they are shouting out your password in a big office, so I don’t really understand why from a stability perspective. I think that readers need to be spec’d to require reading the quantity of characters in your pwd field alternatively. Would make additional sense, and would give a similar usability that the remaining of us possess with pwd fields. Was hoping to create the WDF webpage … Continue reading

What are my options?
Sorry to the extremely vague and noobish post, but where must begin I have a couple of sites i wish to streamline. basically seperate my personal data from the structure, and my personal structure from the design. At first we were certain that the perfect marriage would provide html + css + xml. How wrong we were! Said streamlining could involved using HTML to view a basic xml file for those of my website’s data (news, updates, so forth). Little did i know at that time, mozilla does not really support data islands, and thusly the idea was taken all to heck (as 50% and up of my viewing audience will be mozilla/netscape users). Really the only solutions i have realized have involved javascript hacks and extremely sophisticated XSL processors that appear to nullify the first intention of always keeping my sites straightforward to update. I just want to update a text(or whatever) record, then upload them to my site. This is a tremendously simple sounding trouble, and coming at a programming world, i can’t comprehend why it isnt simpler to accomplish. Therefore, before i draw what little hair relating to left out, i found yourself in you, readers with … Continue reading
