help designing tutorial pages

hi there, I hope that this can be a right forum to be able to post in, and that this is possibly appropriate, but I’m kind of serious here. anyone no one can provide any assistance or volunteering with the following, I’d truly appreciate. I’m writing a programming tutorial education, about C++ lisenced users. Now this is planned in the form of fairly long tutorial. but here is definitely my problem: the tutorial could have entire pages that will itself, its unlike a submitted guide or anything. simply just all html web pages. however, I’m shutter, and so to receive the right colouring, images, fonts, or anything else, is impossible unless I’ve someone else assist me. So, what I might really like is someone who, after I finish a chapter, I can just send in the page as a attachment, and you’ll edit that article, add the necessary circumstances to make it glimpse nice, and just send it to me. I’d have it in a standard html form, but you would must add what people think would be needed to make it appear ok. I would certainly add headings, sentences, linebreaks, etc, but with styles or perhaps css etc, I … Continue reading

E Commerce

Hi Im getting more and more clued up on making web pages, but the a very important factor i dont understand is how i actually make your sites where you are able to order goods along with enter payment specifics etc. Are these internet sites extremely complex What languages should you know to rule everything Who truly proccess your plastic card and how does it url to your site Can certainly someone give me personally a lowdown about whats involved! Many thanks Generally E-commerce systems come in PHP/MySQL. Check out Site Scripts’ PHP Service and Hotscripts’ Ecommerce PHP Service. You can however utilize web-based E-commerce packages, or use ASP/MS SQL. just how secure would any self-written e-comm website be (PHP/MySQL) The hard component to developing an e-commerce web site actually has very little to do with the programming. Most payment running APIs are relatively simple to work with and require a good 25-50 lines associated with code to combine. They exist for a variety of languages, such because ASP, PHP, Perl, CGI, for example. and so with. The actual hard part is coordinating a proper business will develop the e-commerce store around; setting price ranges, selecting a repayment processor, getting … Continue reading

Dreamweaver MX 2004: Impressive

I’ll be the 1st to admit I’m not one for " fancy" programs that aid me personally in coding. But I simply wanted to create a minute to say WOW just for this program. I’ve been applying CSS for over 5 years today and was simply just used to that WYSIWYG editors just couldn’t handle what I used to be doing. This program seemingly differnet. Patient using Dreamweaver MX, even though it has great rendering support to get tables (sometimes) CSS the item just gets murdered. DWMX04 does something I didn’t think possible: the idea rendered my web pages perfectly. WOW what an incredible tool. I also recognized they’ve fixed several issues with this CSS support. Specifically with lists. Inside DWMX, lists which were styled just bought murdered. And since my own new favorite (and correct) form of navigation is making use of unordered lists it killed all my pages. NOw it looks exactly like it should inside the browswer while sticking in my WYSIWYG manager. Way cool. I also noticed you could edit CSS styles directly with the properties panel when selecting the text you could have. Too cool to become true. I’d been utilizing EditCSS for mozilla to … Continue reading

Making multiple pages from template

I made a super easy page template that I’d like to use througout the site, but was wondering whenever a an easy strategy to copy the format to mulitple web pages, other than cutting open it, then protecting it as, by way of example, page1. html, page2. html page etc. I used to be using Coffecup HTML PAGE editor, if which helps. My page basicly is known for a menu along your left side, a title/graphic in the top, and in the biggest market of the page is a only thing that may change from page to page. Is this the simplest way to go about carrying out a layout like the following Hi Should you have a server-side lisenced users language (like PHP and also Perl), then it is rather easy. If not, then I think the only way is that will copy/paste or save-as. Remorseful. I’m undecided what you imply. Do you mean if I know how to program/write PHP/Perl pieces of software, or if I manage to use them where We have my hosting (the first, I have no idea the way to write scripts, cost-free I have) " That second" — How much does your host … Continue reading

Dreamweaver link not working !!

Hi again, I appear to be experiencing problems trying to link to a folder from a webpage designed within dreamweaver. I have copied and pasted the actual link \\999. 999. 999. 999\ftproot\myfolder into your web-browser and that prompts me for my user name and password in that case works fine… this opens up OK. However trying to generate a link on the webpage to this kind of address fails. It cannot discover the page. I checked this code and discovered it turned out inserting 5%C or maybe something similar the location where the \ characters were being. I then copied and pasted the proper link in and also tried again. Even though it was now pointing into the correctb location this still failed using the same error!! Why could it be doing this Is a common difficulty Does anyone know a workaround All the best, Mitch Nicely, I know why if you pasted the 999. 999. 999. 999 It looks like you should be trying to reveal a page all over an ftp interconnection. You need a web site server set approximately share web pages from the site. I wish that helps. Or else, please be more specific as part … Continue reading

Font Help

Hello, I downloaded some great fonts, which I hoped to apply on my site– while I have noticed the site from by myself computer, it offers looked fine. Then again, when I looked at the page by my college desktops, the font changed towards the default browser font. I’m guessing this is certainly something related to uploading the info for any font or something such as that, but my personal computer knwoledge is usually limited. Any aid in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Technical info: Now i am using: Terrapin FTP Browser NTL 55MG Webspace Frontpage XP along with the specific font involved is " AirCut" coming from 1001 free fonts Good luck, Bill. In order for ones college computers to see the site like your house computer they need to have the similar fonts installed. Typically this is why web pages are limited to the employment of a small standard boring collection… Verdana/Arial/Helvetica/Tahoma/Times/Georgia and so forth. If the font is only used for your header or certain titles you then can place it from a graphic and will probably be the same wherever get it. If however it’s using them for written content you have to look towards … Continue reading

Is this some kinka joke??

www. ps. com I happen to randomly find this " web design company". Are they will actally serious Seems someone that is around 15 years too late for your " Hey look what I learned to do" web designers. As fun as these reviews/bashing times are(I have ingested part in several of them in the past) who owns the site wouldn’t request his site that they are posted here plus made a mockery involving. If that provider is truly marketing website creation products then he/she obviously does something right.. you decide I just dont experience its approperiate in order to post links to sites for any soul pourpose with making fun analysts. They’re doing something right once they own a 3 letter. COM website name! PS: your name PS. COM is probably VERY VALUABLE. Once they weren’t a profitable company, they may easily sell it. It does work that they could be doing something proper, or they have an excess of cash to know what to do with it… you decide… I’m envious.. I dont imagine the bank parting with the actual name anytime rapidly. It has also been registered since 1993 and incorporates a current date in order to … Continue reading

Is this overkill for so little content?

My personal daughter was bugging me to get a domain name, and so I registered you for her, and she has been trying to construct a simple website. I think she may have been using Dreamwaver tryout, not sure tho (She’s EIGHTEEN and lives together with her mother) Anyways, I was contemplating the source for her pages, and it positive looks like tons of code to get such little subject matter (BTW, all I realize is some quite basic HTML) Is there a less strenuous way for her to do this (Not so much the primary page, as it truly is the tables on the other pages)www. samanthaley. com WE guess I have to add, this is an extremely basic site. Nothing fancy like the vast majority of others on below. She has never before even attempted any web development. I did tell her to test to make something using notepad along with manually typing to all the HTML rule, but do children ever listen This website serves absolutely no purpose aside from she wanted to create it, because most of her friends get sites (and your lady wanted her own website name lol) I wish my parent baught my … Continue reading
