Customers That Don’t Listen
Hi Most people, A buddy of mine conveys to her Dad that we could do an affiliate site for his small business. He contacts me personally via email plus I respond with a list of questions like, " Do you know of a domain". Subsequently he has happen to be forwarding me each one of his correspondence with a company called, " Online Marketing Center". I looked up the company and there are many good things and bad reasons for it. Relating to two questions: ONE. Has anyone aware of The Internet Promoting Center ONLY TWO. Do you knowledge customers deviating from your services and to something else like what other companies can perform for them What would you do when which happens Thanks MaryJo, This is certainly just my viewpoint. We’d tell him, thanks for considering me, but I’ll give this particular task. It doesn’t sound like he’s a " real" business to your website, but really wants to have you create something they can just sit back and hope for money… but this won’t happen, and you’ll be responsible for the failure. If he has a real internet business, where he is effective hard, is passionate about it, … Continue reading

new to web design
Hi there, I’m new to website development and have some sort of question about a current page I’m working away at. I’m using dreamweaver cs4. I’ve a members contact list that makes use of PHP and MySQL (alot from the dreamweaver auto host bindings and behaviours coding etc). I’ve the " contact address" from the mysql database wrapped in a mailto tag. So members who log on the members only web page can contact various other members by clicking on their email link from the contact information. The item works. My problem is, how can one make this safer to prevent unsolicited mail bots etc You may always set the text display regarding it to do at as opposed to the symbol. Bots look for this symbol, and that’ll cut out a lot of it if a person remove it. Dress yourself in help. thanks for your advice. however, i are not aware of if i adhere to you exactly.. the email addresses are in the database while using " " do i must change it to at from the database Merely understand your dilemma, I think the secure part you might want to worry about reaches login. Use any … Continue reading

Help With Text Turning Italic
Hi My personal background in webdesign is actually basic. Enough to do by myself companies websites gradually and mostly personal taught so practically nothing fancy. I need to find out how to stop the text upon my webpages by turning italic after clicking the link. In other thoughts, the text is normal if your page is displayed for once. Once one of the links are clicked, the next time that page is displayed, that same link is currently in italics. I had a similar difficulty with underlines appearing for the link after is definitely was clicked, We were able to remedy that problem after installing this in the head of your webpage. < style type=" text/css" > <! — the text-decoration: none; –> < /style> Is there something similar just for this italics issue Many thanks for you support. TM2012 There have to be a css rule somewhere for that " a: visited" placed to italic. If you’re definitely not experienced enough to get it then publish a link plus we can have a look. I seached online and found this but it seemed to do the job – virtually any thoughts < script type=" text/javascript" > oldTextAry = different … Continue reading

Is this kind of flash seo okay?
I’d prefer to embed some sort of flash website into an html page after which it, to make it search engine friendly, I need to hide the similar text that appears inside flash movie while in the html page so search engines will see that page. We’ve two questions: 1. ) Does this work and 2. ) As long for the reason that hidden text inside html page satisfies the text while in the flash movie, are these claims okay (legal) Bless you.: ermm: Sure it works. There’s no doubt that its legal.

Who’s at Fault? Designer vs Client dispute, interested in your opinions
Hello there, A recent dispute came up of which made me wonder who is really in a bad here and MY SPOUSE AND I thought who better to ask for feedback/opinions/poll than your community of colleagues here. Recently I’d some trouble obtaining the Featured Content Gallery to operate on my internet site. I hired any designer, who should remain anonymous, that said he might troubleshoot it throughout 30 mins. Superb. It worked. Then again, it seems the missing closing DIV tag made the positioning look messed way up in Internet Explorer (the diminishing text problem this others have had) as well as from about 6am Friday morning to virtually 6am Saturday morning, the site had been unviewable by IE people. This was particularly tragic as this is the one day with the year that WHEN I go all out and purchase over a multitude of dollars of newspapers advertising and 80% with my visitors had been on IE. I can let you know that I’ve lost a lot of traffic and capital on Friday which usually won’t repeat right up until next Valentines day time. Yes, total deprivation, more than total loss actually. I was working on wanting to make … Continue reading
