most used languages
im a preety new web designer and was wanting to know what languages you guys utilize the most and what ones are more helpful. please post Many thanks I use CSS essentially the most because I think it offers the most versatility inside your designs, but it can even be the biggest hassle unless you know what you’re doing. It’s quite handy though. To define essentially the most useful it genuinely depends on what kind of web work you want to do. Designing for great companies would require a language that is the most cross appropriate. Designing smaller jobs may require a language that delivers versatility (like CSS, because I stated above). Coming up with databases for businesses would require PHP, ASP, or something of this sort. Then there’s always Java and various languages in order to dsign web applets or even CGI. It all really depends upon where you want to go with the idea. thanks. any one else have any favorite languages CSS is actually cool stuff. I’ve ‘just’ started getting into PHP and your simple things it could accomplish – extremely, very cool elements. It took myself FOREVER to figure out how to hook up CGI-BIN material … Continue reading

Form Layout
Heya all, I’ve got an application with approximately FORTY FIVE fields, all copy fields, followed by way of user-selected number regarding image upload career fields. I thinking about making the photograph upload area a new seperate page, but as long as the 40 fields, would you crack this up into multiple pages abandon it on just one page with PLAINLY defined seperations involving related information This can be a first time I’ve needed to gather this much information, and I’m in a loss as to how to handle it. Thanks — Chris It depends what your while using 40 or therefore text fields intended for. If you have it over multiple webpages, using JavaScript is some a pain, however , you say you possess upload image script, and that means you prob know any server side Whoops, yeah, PHP and MySQL. It is a realestate website, mind you. lots of points and information. — Chris.

How should I go about doing this?
The owner of a new team in my town saw online site I generated for my boyfriend’s band. He liked this and asked easily would be thinking about making one pertaining to his club. I’d like to make a single for him, but I’ve never made sites for money. It’s more on the hobby for myself. I don’t possess any real education from the field, it’s almost all self taught. I use Dreamweaver for making my sites together with. He said that he has a picture in the club he would like on the site, he wants the menu offered, and he wants various entertainment to possibly be updated regularly. I have already a hosting package I am going to be using, so I will be paying to the and the domain name. I was simply wondering how I should go about doing this. Can i have him shell out one up-front fee to the design and set up, and then a monthly to the site updates as well as hosting, or can i have him purchase a year worth of hosting/domain name and the design all up-front Any feedback on a design fee can be great too, since I’ve … Continue reading
