Need Feedback (Web Design as an art)
For one of my tuition, I have that will something is along with art or not an art. My topic MY PARTNER AND I chose is web design. I believe its an art some ways, certain Websites, ect… but seriously isn’t an art around ways either. Consequently, I was considering getting some responses. I want that will here opinions on why it will be concidered and fine art, and/or why the idea wouldn’t be concidered a art. Thanks: typical: In its humble beginnings ?t had been not anything near an art. But today it is. When you feel about how a web page is first fashioned, you see that your large art factor goes in to it. Each of the elements are carefully used in Photoshop or whichever program the designer choses. As using all good art work, there is very careful thought behind what is positioned where and how that will affect the audience. As with just about all good art, a web site site has some sort of visual theme that this audience will translate. The coding of any web site is usually an art in itself being studied and critiqued by others. A coder needs to search … Continue reading
page looks different on different browsers
I can’t receive the home page connected with http: //www. efraindejesus. com to take a look the same around different browsers and the same on DESKTOP and mac. The matter is mainly together with table alignment. I would like the image on the left to align considering the text. Also, the width with the right cell where the text is improvements from browser to be able to browser. and the type is in several sizes. I designed it using a mac and it seems like s**t on desktop. Help! here you are at the world regarding webdesign…. i’m merely a beginner as properly, but here’s just what i’ve gleaned to date, as it reaches right down in order to it, you can’t really have just one design which would work on just about all browsers and systems. you can look at your best, setting all sizes because ems or PER CENT, and by making certain to specify all parameters because default valuations will differ between browsers and systems. the best way i know to address the challenge is to use css with code and javascript. your web blog is very very simple….. i’d suggest developing it using css and divs … Continue reading

Single Click download button or link ??
Hello, We’ve just created this first website but developing a problem… please help!!!! we’ve on my website mp3 files established by myself and also there if you are to download, as it stands currently is you right visit the link along with select ‘Save Concentrate on As’ but what i want is to use a single click option that brings way up the ‘Save file’ dialog box as we have also created a button to play the file within the default mp3 player around the browsers pc. Now i am using Dreamweaver MX Model 6. How to create a individual click download control key or link Thanks e-x-p Generally speaking, browsers will download anything they don’t understand how to handle internally. I don’t *think* there’s how to pop up that save as dialog proverbial box; the only way can be to make sure that the MIME type can be something the browser doesn’t know about (application/unknown or something could possibly do the trick), making sure that it will immediately pop it up. However, I’m also confused how to make it happen. It would possibly involve. htaccess documents, however. Thanks significantly Shadowfiend, confused that i would like to go down this … Continue reading

Where to find old browsers to test sites?
Hi there, I’m seeking to amass a group of older browsers (not ancient, but such things as IE 5. SOME, IE 5. 0, NS FOUR, etc. ), to get website testing needs. This is demonstrating harder than I’d personally have expected. Does anyone know on the good site to look for older versions of these (and maybe other) browsers I’d really appreciate the item. Thanks in enhance! Aint tested but download. com I think has older reproductions. To get a truly memorable perusing experience, one have to use Lynx http: //www. delorie. com/web/lynxview. html http: //www. surfers. evolt. org seems to have all the mature versions of netscape, ie, opera and mozilla plus loads of others including macintosh versions.

Multiple browsers for testing
I currently have got Mozilla Firefox and IE installed and also was wondering if it becomes a good idea to setup another browser to test my sites about. Would this conflict when using the other browsers Beware of any major disparities in other browsers than a site optimised with regard to IE and Mozilla Firefox could look different in Opera or Netscape. I’m unsure of any big differences with Opera, nevertheless I’ve seen quite a few minor differences. Mainly it renders just like FF though. You possibly can cancel out the brand new version of Netscape because it steals rendering from whatever other browser you’ve got. If I fitted opera would it conflict with Net explorer or firefox or cause any problems In terms of i know that won’t, I own both installed. I’d also recommend testing on lynx just to see what your webblog will look such as on text-only browsers and search engine optimization spiders. We’ve checked it at lynx, lucky thing MY PARTNER AND I put those wording links on at the end of the page!!! Now just to have my school challenge site partly obeyed I any longer ! do much next time i go back.
