We would say – out of previous comments about my web constructing in Frontpage, to use a wide selection of Dreamweaver, and Hand Coding i Notepad as well as other HTML Publishers: i go with code & dreamweaver. calculates pretty well. basically want something predetermined, and i cant find it being a feature in dreamweaver, i check out code, but if its some code and dreamwevaer undoubtedly has the characteristic, obviously, i use dreamweaver. But my spouse and i use dreamweaver in the event that its just simpler to click the actual button then keying in the code Personally i think so famous, getting my quote posted in a very new thread. I hardcode all my stuff. Although dreamweaver provides some nice extras including the site map software. You can in addition implement CSS with no trouble unlike frontpage. Consequently I say apply both, but keep hardcode most of … Continue reading

Previously it was hanled by someone else I have certainly not talked to nor should i think I is able to talk to. I figured out learn to get the site downloadable… but now this freakin thing wont let me upload anything. I’m almost specific it has related to frontpage, it gives us 550 Access Denied once i try it along with FTP. When WHEN I try uploading that via the " Submit Web" it wont sign me in when using the same username/password I use to buy the ftp (that functions fine) Does frontpage exclusively use one username/password with regard to it’s own extensions useage What does someone need to notify the server admin to help you me fix this Also anyone that knows plenty about frontpage generally Iw ould gladly appreciate it if you would give me a person’s AIM (or goal me at BraksAIM) mainly because I have a few other questions that I may or will not be able to learn… grr I dislike video games something fierce I’m working hard … Continue reading

I used frontpage to make a website created from frames, i possess three frames; control keys, main page and also banner. the buttons mode is strictly pen and i associated a button created from flash to a new page, but whenever my spouse and i click the adobe flash link it constantly displays the linked page in the frame when that buttons are display. In order to specific the target from the frame, just change the " _parent" towards name of the frame. . i know how to do that when i already … Continue reading

Using layers…pros-cons.
My business is planning to employ Layers on the site. it is so simple to use and configure these people on frontpage 2004. thing is… instant messaging wondering if there is certainly a drawback (gotchya). instant messaging sure it exclusively supports certain editions of IE. and why don’t you consider mozilla gives thanks.: classic: Layers do anyone mean floating divs Begin using them correctly they can enhance your site 500% if you are using them incorrectly you’re better off applying tables. hmm. i recently know them seeing that layers. in frontpage 2004 its a little click and you got a window you are able to move around anywhere you wish. carry out layers hurt site loading time Layers reduce loading time as they use less rule than tables, but they have to be done inside hard xHTML and also CSS. With Frontpage 2004 you may not stand a probability in hell of having them x-browser similar value, or even for you to display well throughout IE. Is there a easy method to do it the best ways Perhaps there can be a better wysiwyg I do not own much coding practical experience. ryan Well you could go among either two … Continue reading

Add a 1 pixel solid border to certain table or a part of a table.
Hello there. I will be using FrontPage for web page design. I used to include 1 pixel, solid borders to certain table not all tables on the page or or parts of tables using FrontPage, nevertheless noticed that these kind of borders are only visible in Net Exlporer, while in other browser for instance Opera or Mozilla an individual wouldnt see all those borders. My question is how can i add cross-browser kitchen table borders so that it could be seen in all browsers or at the least in many I guess it can be done through css script, but I guess there might be easier way. Any suggestion will probably be appreciated. Regards. Code: <! DOCTYPE web coding PUBLIC " -//W3C//DTD XHTML JUST ONE. 0 Transitional//EN" " http: //www. w3. org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional. dtd" > < web coding xmlns=" http: //www. w3. org/1999/xhtml" > < head> < title> CSS Border< /title> < model type=" text/css" media=" screen" > . line, td border: 1px sturdy #000; border-collapse: fall; < /style> < /head> < body> < family table width=" 750" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" border=" 0" class=" border" > < tr> < td width=" 375" height=" 550" > blah< /td> < td width=" … Continue reading

The webpage We are making is to get a class and we have been provided having a site to publish on. I have submitted my pages and also everything is fine aside from the theme layouts. I have decided on preset themes throughout Frontpage for my personal webpages and any graphics based on them, including banners, background scenes, bullets, page dividers, and link watering holes, show up because broken. Everything otherwise uploads fine. Can someone remember to explain this to my advice simply and tell me the way to fix it Thanks so much. Suggestions the site: http: //students. usm. maine. edu/sarah. j. anderson It links to the other sites I created i always am also having theme difficulty with. Welcome towards forums! The title picture is associated with: http: //students. usm. maine. edu/sarah. j. anderson/_derived/index. html_cmp_artsy010_bnr. gif Is that where it actually is Unless the image is named " listing. html_cmp_artsy010_bnr. gif", I’d say your website is messed upwards. Graphics in Frontpage – Noobie how to question
I want to put quite a few graphics in my frontpage. Do you have to load the graphics for a database which comes with your hosting company or only place a link to the graphics into your HTML Many thanks Surely someone knows the way to add graphics into a webpage…. You must first save the picture for a computer. Then: Place > Picture > From File Then find your report. You really need to upload the graphics for a web space, a similar place where your own html pages usually are stored. You should store graphics/iamges in the seperate sub directories. IN THE HTML < img src=" yourImageFolder/graphic. gif" /> You change the path according to exactly where and what you will have saved it as. As Trico says you’ll want to get your head surrounding the whole way online is structured… your own c: \ drive isn’t gonna be accessible to folks over the internet; even if you’re hosting your site (and as you said " internet hosting company" I assume you’re not) the d: \ syntax will make reference to their drives every time they visit your web-site not yours, so it’s never gonna work! So, yes, … Continue reading
