Greetings all, jsut wanting to begin a site and am trying to find a good cost-free (if that exists) hosting company. I would want the examples below features: at the very least 150MB storage PHP or pearl or similar to that email will be good average amount of bandwidth preferably no ads or only one text ad any other little goodies will be welcome Thanks to the help in improve guys. Help with converting PDFs and MSWord files to web pages

Hi, All fellow web site designers, I am getting returning to designing web websites its been a time, I have a customer that has created 27 pages for their website, they desire me to essentially set them upward with hosting corporation, however the data files are PDFs in addition to Microsoft Word. I Am Lost and Need Some Help Thanks

Ok so okay give you the run-down on what took place. I am a moderate web designer with medium competencies and ability plus learning more constantly. I was building a site for a friend with dreamweaver EIGHT, I know you will find better design programs but that was what I made use of. The site exercised well and I loaded with their host server. I made some changes towards the site and experimented with to update the internet version and in some way lost everything. Now an original site I had replaced is back in its place All my pages are long gone, my design is gone through the web, and MY PARTNER AND I can’t reload this. I have this saved copy in my PC while I save it into the remote host it says it can be loaded and saved but it surely is still that old site. GAP in NESTED TABLES/SHIM PIXEL?

Hello all, An image i sliced in Photoshop then imported in to Dreamweaver is expressing little white dots within the right edge, just the place that the slice borders tend to be. I set all cellspace/borders to 0 and made sure the cell was the exact size of the image however the dots still remained. Make sure you see the linked image. I’ve seen threads on some forums saying that is a " shim" artwork creating extra breathing space. People have solved this challenge by deleting that column containing the particular shim pixels or maybe deleting spacer. gif, but after i do so all slices fall out of alignment. How to get rid from the shim graphic so that you will find there’s clean edge I’d very much value some guidance. coding serverside? new to html/css

i am doing fine in making nice searching sites (html/css) but only add… say like a " sign-up" page which has a form.. it don’t be functional could it.. without serverside programming to create a database of members uncertain how that succeeds.. what im after would be to limit all pages (except site and sign-up page) for you to members only. or at least please take a sign-up page just to consider customers. so definately not i have mastered.. the functionality of this sign-up page wont work until its on a server. so will the hosting company manage that or must i need to program code it sorry, im a noob to that, just trying to be familiar with how it operates, so i is capable of doing it or study what i want to know so i is able to do it. ty earlier for your assistance.
