Google Base query
Hello All, Iv just setup some products on google base to travel with my clients new portable soccer goal website. After i find my products and solutions through base it looks ok but while i click on any belonging to the links within that description it undergoes to the yahoo and google base product page. This seems normal but after i click on any from the competitors products the item goes straight by means of their product web page on their website rather then the google item page. Does anyone understand how to make it use this instead of planning to the google description Additionally, We’ve noticed that that competitors have his or her store name listed near to the items, how to get my retail store name listed beside mine Will it be just a metter connected with changing the search engines account name to the store name Bless you,

301 Redirects
Hello again everyone! I had been yet again just trawling from the web looking at random website design stuff and I discovered something that made me understand! They are called ‘301 Redirects’ and I have been informed through one site which i need one to ensure search engines don’t penalise ranking because the difference between these kind of two links; http: //www. synoptic-media. com http: //synoptic-media. com Is this correct If so learn how to rectify this As it stands right now I have absolutey absolutely no content hosted exactly what so ever, at the very least none that I am aware of. Can anybody clarify this to do please Mark Basically the worry recommendations that search applications will split your ranking between that version with www and also the version without. As long as I know this can be indeed a reputable concern, and tips on how to hit it would be to make www become a 301 redirect into the non-www version, or perhaps vice versa. Quite simply, you pick your primary’ one of the two and make sure the other redirects that will it. The redirects in essence tell the search results that the web page, while … Continue reading

Google Sites Feature: Impact on our Web Design Business?
Has anyone examined the new The search engines Sites feature used with each Google search I’ve had simply a quick look : haven’t yet tried developing a site – but for a new web designer seeking to offer " attractive, affordable" designs to small enterprises I find this somewhat worrying. Templates that users can adapt happen to be around for a while now if you know to discover them but Google is offering free hosting and a very simple, don’t-have-to-search way of developing a website.: nervous: Just about any thoughts Geocities 3. 0, that’s most of.

What does header tag mean?
Sorry for your stupid question, but I notice that marilyn and i talk about a good deal about the importance of contain the right words or maybe title in H1 or maybe H2. What exactly really does this mean are usually relevance of it Im looking to build my own website but dont get much experience in the field. aspects are headings. What they mean is just what exactly they sound just like… they are meant to be the " heading" (or title, subtitle, etc. ) to get a section of content on your own page. Imagine them as though you had been writing a document. You would start using a main heading for each primary section in the document, then subheadings to help title the content therein. A website works the same way, but typically you’ll work with a different page for every main section associated with content. The importance when it comes to SEO is that search engines give many weight to headings while searching for keywords on your own page, because the < h#> elements naturally jump out from the rest of the content. So putting your own keyphrases in all of them is advisable – although … Continue reading

Why is my site such a mess??
My organization is relatively new to website development. I did one other site and all was seamless, but that one is a substantial disaster. I screened it on my computer and this laptop, in Internet Explorer in addition to Mozilla Firefox plus it worked fine. I checked it today on my work computer and its a disaster. I am speculating the monitor dimensions has something related to it Also, it can not show up on google, even once i type in my web addess directly into google, it still doesn’t come up. If anyone is willing to consider my site and also tell me what i’m doing wrong, let me be forever indebted to you personally. online world. southendgardens. com Thanks a ton!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no problems on the site. Love those purple flowers in your home page! You will have very big still left and right margins within the main text spot. That will cause issues on cheaper resolutions. Additionally, you’re using framesets. I know that’s causing Search engines issues. It’s no longer helping your usability, both! Thank you for your info. I removed folks search that was in the very bottom in the page and it looks like … Continue reading
