links in html
I utilize a temorary service totally free and when i complete a link Example: aol. com it applies its links earliest then mine case: geocities. com/Name/yahoo. com. html how do you correct this set http: //www. aol. com instead with just yahoo. com You can open your new link from a new window should you wish: Case in point: < any href=" http: //www. aol. com" target=" _blank" > Aol < /a> that’s not the problem… it’s the fact that when you don’t put the http: // before it, it starts in search of a file labeled yahoo. com to operate an effective directory. many thanks ill try how do you make text this scrolls by its self And here is a Google look for: http: //www. search engines. com/searchq=javascript scroll textual content on screen& btnG=Search So many choices… you should pick your individual method.

form answers emailed to me
When will i get the answers to somewhat of a form emailed to an account While component of me wants to inform you where you are able to google it (pretty unable to walk and vauge question), I would like karma with the particular forum gods, so this is your answer: There are acctually numerous ways to achieve this, but they most of involve a server-side terms. Depending on what your host makes it possible for, this can necessarily mean using cgi, Perl as well as PHP (there will be hundreds more). Any language will last this task, though I’d perfer PHP. Basically you’d just write the script, and possess the form ‘post’ to be able to it. The same concept is employed for Perl/cgi, besides the script is wrote and saved differently. If you can’t know or would like to learn any server facet languages, I would reccomend considering a site similar to hotscripts. com and getting a script that matches what you are looking for. Make sure how the language matches your host (php is mostly only on pay hosts, asp is on more pricey paid hosts, perl/cgi is usually on about everything). These generally have simple instrustions … Continue reading

Becoming a better designer
Definitely people. I have been recently a coder in the past 6 years or perhaps so, but We have not really took an enormous step into the earth of graphics, that’s why when my (or someones) website is finished, you will discover normally no layouts, and if you will discover graphics, they usually are not of the best value. I advertise regionally and work is sorts of starting to arrive around, so I would appreciate any guidance/tips on the way to create visually appealing sites, as POST only produce simple, text based. Many thanks guys Set yourself some sort of target to learn some of the principles that apply to Graphic Design. You make attractive pages through the use of basic things similar to: Alignment, Space, Proximity, Colour, Repeating page elements etc. These will affect how user-friendly and uncomplicated and ‘attractive’ some sort of page will how it looks look. The good thing is you don’t even need the graphics package to begin with using these issues. All you need to do is scan some of the websites featured in the " How’s my site" forum here in WDF to see that a lot of people have this mindset that … Continue reading

hi guys and girls.. uhm i have a lot of knowledge in web design.. and good application. My mates group of musicians have asked me to put together a site.. and also i agreed having open arms! one problem, i am completly lost to get ideas.. if anyone could possibly send me your template.. or some ideas it would most appreciated Matt x hi again..! not some sort of v. good responce.. if any associated with u have templates within your own.. that i can mess around along with, that would be great aswell! gives thanks x Try searching the online for other renowned bands that squeeze into your pal’s companies category of audio and use that for a stepping stone if you’d prefer. Try looking at what exactly is already there, then give thought to how you would do it differently, what you prefer and what it’s not necessary to and how you should replace that stuff you dislike. Also speak with the band people, see if they’ve got any specific concepts. Hope this helps somewhat more, Daniel. The thing with regards to bands is some people feel that due to the style, or genre of the band, the … Continue reading

Hosting 2 domain on 1 webserver
We have a client that may be hosting 2 names on single webserver. He has 5 static additional ip address. He would like to assign or allocate ip address with each domain. That server is at the rear of the router….. normally in establishing a webserver behind a router you recently assign static ip correct then open the required port for this server & it will eventually work. But the matter here is if you’re behind the router the webserver work but the COUPLE OF domains hosted with that server may share 1 WAN ip target….. is there just about any work around for this one I’ll thankyou if anyone may give any suggestions….. thanks a great deal. Put a switch while watching router I don’t think you need to use a router to regulate two dedicated IP’s (not an easy router, at least) because the point of a router is always to route one IP to be able to multiple IPs. It can become done in a variety of ways. As mentioned, a switch would be one option, then assign the IPs towards NIC card along with bind the virtual servers on the IP address you need. In this … Continue reading

Hello, We’ve just created this first website but developing a problem… please help!!!! we’ve on my website mp3 files established by myself and also there if you are to download, as it stands currently is you right visit the link along with select ‘Save Concentrate on As’ but what i want is to use a single click option that brings way up the ‘Save file’ dialog box as we have also created a button to play the file within the default mp3 player around the browsers pc. Now i am using Dreamweaver MX Model 6. How to create a individual click download control key or link Thanks e-x-p Generally speaking, browsers will download anything they don’t understand how to handle internally. I don’t *think* there’s how to pop up that save as dialog proverbial box; the only way can be to make sure that the MIME type can be something the browser doesn’t know about (application/unknown or something could possibly do the trick), making sure that it will immediately pop it up. However, I’m also confused how to make it happen. It would possibly involve. htaccess documents, however. Thanks significantly Shadowfiend, confused that i would like to go down this … Continue reading

one table row doesn’t show up in IE or Opera
I’m designing a site, and everything seems to figureout fine with te exception of a very important factor – I’ve bought a table of which works in Firefox, Netscape, plus Mozilla, but one line disappears in IE and Opera – the actual row with JPGs in the container. Everything else stays identical. I’ve posted the code for this below if any one has any ideas. Some of seems somewhat clumsy and hacked in my opinion, but I just simply did what I really could to get it to seem the way I need to. This is my first attempt at a website, consequently please pardon any kind of inelegant coding, and so forth, and feel free of charge to suggest far better alternatives. Additionally, one other issue. The W3C validator states I can’t use leftmargin, topmargin, etc as found below – is really a challenge, or can WE ignore it < shape bgcolor=" #bcbc85" leftmargin=" 0" topmargin=" 0" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" > bless you, Andrew Code: < table border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" width=" 100%" > < tr> < td colspan=" 7" > < img src=" beige-bar-2×2. gif" width=" 100%" height=" 15" border=" 0" > < /td> < … Continue reading

Trying to crete a webpage inside of a webpage
This is the site at the second: http: //www. asme-design. org. vt. edu/ I used a new template and modified a number of it. What I might like to do is have this open the webpages within the " Main" eyeport. For example, after i click on group, it would open team. html and show it because area. Is frames able of doing this How must this be carried out in Dreamweaver I’d also love to add a tag into your block at the end of the page that is going to have a url to the admin’s email and so forth. In the even that the admin changes, I dont want to have to modify this information on every site. Is there how to have it source the info or html out of one place and use it on every one of the pages TIA Frames can change a place of a site yes. I will not use DW but Concerning done. From the toolbar you’d add a frame object. You give the frame a name, and then with your links, you target that frame like so: HTML: < some sort of href=" team. htm" target=" name_of_frame" > website … Continue reading
