Another newb question, I am building my internet site, again on dreamweaver, and I am using photoshop to produce gifs for this nav bar/graphics/etc. We have just completed the nav bar, and already i am at 23 e for site size. What is a suitable site size these days Is there any gif compression to be used Maximum size for all those files together that make up a page shouldn’t ideally be more than 60KB, and definately only 100KB. You can use GIF compression I think, but the best thing to do is to assure your graphics are reused throughout your web blog. If you’re reusing the nav through the site, I believe 23K is ok, but you would be wise to try to compress graphics whenever you can without loosing excessive quality. Arghj! I have only finished making our new site as well as already am bored stiff of it and totally desire to start again! What the heck is my problem And I keep designing web sites that just get random stuff on and find bored with all of them really quickly, I think because of this , – I do not have a positive make an effort to reach for, nothing to encourage me to increase content to my own site.
