How to design simple 1 page Website
Howdy everyone. I am new to the current forum and this really is my first submit and first question. I have discovered plenty of 1page websites along with noticed that they look pre-installed such that this owners just tweaks them to fit in to their desires like everyone else can tweak smf, drupal and Joomla and various CMSes. checkout this site and pls tell me the right way to go about building such 1 web site sites. http: //www. the-wiggly-worm. com/ While they could seem that approach… they really are not. Your browser is known for a View > Page Source command which tells you the page computer code. Given there’s very little Doctype specification, you might want to develop a straightforward page yourself, it really is pretty basic. Another is to Document > Save while… You can then take a look at how the site works, and learn things you require to do that will put your own word in there. Nonetheless, this is going to be more complicated than the usual simple editor window where you just type in brand-new text. Most with the people in this niche will advertise you a web site layout generator. Also you … Continue reading
robots.txt on a different server?
Acceptable so here the item goes… We’ve recently acquired a website lindaruderman. com via another company. As of now we can’t do half of your monthly reports on the webpage because google (and each of our other utilities) are telling us the robots. txt isn’t allowing for moving. Enter lindaruderman. com/robots. txt and see that this indeed phony. And so my question is definitely… Can additional company have your robots. txt file within the old lindaruderman. com site that may be effecting us I’ve also noticed that every the pages google mentions which might be being block are in reference to your old site. For example there’s no contact. php file about our iteration on the site. We have a very /contact/ page being that him and i utilize friendly URLs. Any kind of suggestions are liked…. Only thing I could say is who’s will take your next crawl from Google the get your web blog indexed correctly. The old site must be removed from that server. Eventually these and other conflicts will become ironed out.

Costing of a Website/App using RoR
Non-developer here that has a new start-up. I realize that a lump-sum, all-encompassing flat fee to get a website/application isnt handy. On the other hand, Ive read this threads about devalued programmer charges, so could people guys help myself figure how most effective to estimate the charge (or at least a considerable range) of developing a website/app designed as well as developed As someone with restricted technical knowledge, seeking to budget for web development is really a black hole of confusionand seeing as the company is really a website, thats an issue in writing sometimes semi-accurate proformas. The website needs to act for a subscriber-based e-commerce website like Ebay, Amazon or perhaps Etsy with store subscriptions for people, a social marketing aspect, and a CMS. Are usually general financial range I should be thinking about after you start getting towards subscriber sites that adheres to that, your talking a complete different set connected with skills. dont confuse an internet designer with an internet programmer, although usually they need to have both skill-sets to get good. I currently make $20/hr for a junior developer carrying out sites with backends plus the current project were taking care of was a $16, 000 … Continue reading

Dreamweaver & Frontpage Compatability
MY PARTNER AND I use DW when my web authoring application. Can the websites I create within DW be opened and edited within FrontPage Can myself, who uses DW, along with a friend, who employs FrontPage, both help make updates to websites while each functions different software Or will bad elements happen!: -X Thanks! It really should not be a problem, no less than with basic web coding stuff. They make a little different code between the 2 main but they need to still render within either program. Frontpage is discontinued btw as it was so horrendous they didn’t even bother to mend it!

Web design software
Hello Can anyone highly recommend a visual web site design software This software should support putting into action file download. Many thanks You could try the WYSIWYG Website design Software. Maybe FrontPage or Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is ideal. I use that, and I’ve witnessed the file-upload choice in there. MY SPOUSE AND I haven’t used that, but it looks simple enough. Relating to some info within my sig if you are interested. Dreamweaver is also ideal. If you are making a internet site for profit, you then should purchase any license. if everyone ever get captured with an illegal copy, you COULD lose your company. Dreamweaver all-around $600 or thus. Theres also the front page (although i dont like the WYSIWYG views) Im mostly any coder so i stay with code views in both, dreamweavers got reasonable file upload service, frontpage has the option to work inside a connected mode (so will dreamweaver, but dreamweavers coupled mode is kind of clunky, wen u publish a file it checks all dependancys to view if they are altered (this is actually good, but it might get slow) the item uploads dependancies that contain changed) Dreamweaver is great but costly. Depending on your budget … Continue reading
