I have been playing around having Excel and Switching to HTML. For no reason really tried the item before. Please check this stuff out and tell me what people think.. Grid for Beginners – Any tips for good books

Hello everybody, My organization is new to style and bought several great books at usability (don’t help make me think), typo (Robin Williams books) including a book on grids of which had a SOME star rating on Amazon (can’t try to remember the title). What My organization is still struggling having is general layout and proportions. Especially the grid guide showed me good examples on how you can use grids to generate basic layouts but it failed to say easy methods to actually implement these folks (the nitty gritty stuff). One example is a simple internet banner. I have learned about dividing the screaming horizontally and vertically in 3 parts. I’ve played around keeping this but can’t really say that it helped me set up something balanced. Another example may be the 960 grid. I use Joomla including a template called Breeze that uses the actual 960 grid. I want to make standards for that content but I am struggling to find information on the way to calculate the horizontal values with the grid (the verticals will be given) and tips on how to apply these beliefs then. Dont know where increased hits coming from

Hi there, Inside recent couple months, the unique hits I’m getting increased by means of almost 100%, from around 150 per day to almost 300 daily. I am not complaining but MY SPOUSE AND I dont have any idea where there’re coming from. Clarity of Transparent Gif Image in Photoshop

I’m attempting to save an impression in Photoshop as being a gif with transparency. The image contains text on a transparent background to ensure that it will overlie a new semi-opaque white image which experts claim overlies rotating photographs underneath. My problem could be that the letters on this image become " shaky" while viewed in ie6 — it’s better however not perfect inside firefox. To make an effort to correct this, I’ve created the words to be twice the size and style I need and reduced it straight down (not ideal but this does create a decentish picture in firefox and not IE). Hey Guys – I’ve designed a new drop down nav system for the client, and he’s nevertheless it’s misbehaving with his browser; melting, not dropping lower right, etc. We’ve tested it with IE7, 8, Firefox and Chrome and all look working fine.
