How to add a background to a flash template…?
MY SPOUSE AND I found this cost-free flash template and would want to lay it over my background… Is there anyway to do this without a adobe flash editor I only want to upload the web theme to my host and add the background there… Is this possible Thank you. And, for a secondary question, does anyone determine what program(s) I need to make flash websites such as one I associated with I’ve noticed that there are numerous flash websites (like normally the one I linked to) of which just load pretty smoothly with little or no wait or challenges, like they are form of a " slimmed downed" version of flash that may be very fast loading when compared with other flash sites I’ve seen and I’d like to know how these are made… Thanks.

W3 VALIDATOR.
OMG copy my face off on the w3 validator lol. a note to those new like me to design. be sure you are using the proper DTD for your current doc before trying to validate or you will want a lot regarding aspirin. I’m never sure about whether to travel " transitional", " strict", and also whatever. I understand that as long as it validates somehow, it appears to render better on all browsers… so I estimate validating is the best way to check one’s private coding. It helps come across possible HTML in addition to CSS errors that might turn into a train smash. One might say W3C is a tool, not a requirement It’s actually only one recommendation, but the point is if everybody taken it, there would be a de facto typical and rendering issues would disappear. MY SPOUSE AND I use XHTML YOU. 0 Strict. well for some reason it didnt for instance me using strict with xhtml css along with php all in a single file lmao. so transitional it was before. php just simply outputs html, in order that means nothing. pull your page up in a browser > view source> and validate by … Continue reading

How to make a page with frequent varying content
Howdy, I’ll have a " product in the week" page in my website. Of course every week there will be a different product and the length of descriptions, paragrpahs, specialised data, number plus size of pics, videos will all vary obtain. I’ll do this without difficulty in word or frontpage etc… and save it for htm file along with include it in wherever I’d prefer… But I want these files to be stored in an organized manner. Also, depending on the type of product, I want just simply the title and description appearing on its precise product category page at the same time, as " modern product of the week using this category"… ALso I prefer these files to be searchable later. So, based on this specific it looks to me like I would put the data in any mysql database after which you can display with php in anywehre I need… ANd I find out enough php to do that… But our question is, only do that, then I couldn’t be as flexible as displaying everything in any format I want every week (as there is different product daily, things to possibly be display will fluctuate greatly from one … Continue reading

How to let the client add content to a site?
Good day, I’m currently working away at a project pertaining to an estate realtor who wants to begin an online selection of properties. The positioning will be easy, just a showcase gallery with pictures and text, so what will be the best way to line it up in order that he could add properties into the site on a regular basis Thanks greatly, Adam Dalton Adam, This is certainly done using PHP and also MySQL. It would be as simple while finding (or creating) a new script where some sort of logged-in person may possibly add/edit/delete properties… or you might find an current script and convert it. Another thought is always to use a CMS method of script, like WordPress. You didn’t post this from the PHP section on the forum, so Now i’m guessing you have no idea PHP. You could use a freelancer programmer to complete the back-end scripting to suit your needs. It wouldn’t cost greatly. i have got a script i can share section of but it is within php no database required, it makes use of your existing files. if you the phone that is. create an admin section to the site with what changes … Continue reading

the amount should I charge for your tooltip that directly links with a company’s description in a very trade show layout My business is interning for a company and we are trying to figure out how much to be able to charge for tooltips in a trade show Zmag we’re doing. Hello there Shepps, Possibly not exactly sure what exactly your project can be… do you have got a link you can easily share And do you know of any kind of pricing structure currently No costs structure just still. What my company has been doing is making an online trade show magazine that will include tool tips within the contents portion of it that link directly into the respected business’ homepage. This is the best one we own ever done and My business is supposed to determine how much to charge just for this sort of point. In my experience the internet is an amount of a wild west in such a area and selling prices vary wildly. Brand new thought about trying a cost per click model as Google do From your advertisers’ view, you may wish to consider the value to the business displaying your link. How … Continue reading
Protecting Images You Own
post set the position with the top left next corner. the id=" image" div may be for the image the particular id=" coverpannel" may be for the link. and where dreamweaver i can’t help, only value. Rob… Try this: Create this PHP script, call it " photograph. php": PHP: < php// path to your images (where they are stored). // include the trailing forward slash /$path=”/photos/”; $filename=$path. $_GET’p’; // Get the dimensionslist($width_orig, $height_orig) = getimagesize($filename); // Resize if needed (in this example, full size … no reduction). $width=$width_orig; $height=$height_orig; // Example of half-size decrease. //$width=$width_orig/2; //$height=$height_orig/2; // Resample$image_p = imagecreatetruecolor($width, $height); $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($filename); imagecopyresampled($image_p, $image, 0, 0, 0, 0, $width, $height, $width_orig, $height_orig); // Outputheader(‘Content-type: image/jpeg’); imagejpeg($image_p, null, 100); // Clean-up Memoryimagedestroy($image_p); > Now take advantage of this on your HTML pages for every image… < img src=" photograph. phpp=mypic. jpg" > The supply of the image shall be unknown, but your image will look. (this may be for JPG or JPEG images only). . that is a lovely idea mlseim I’ll try this tomorrow and show you. I know what you necessarily mean, … Continue reading
