Silliest Ways To Promote Your Website

Initially, I hope this is an appropriate online community to post the following thread. So I keep asking: what do people think are the silliest means are that a person can promote their website Here’s my idea (I really don’t recommend actually performing this): Head to BestBuy, and find a computer – act like you are searching for buying it. When the salesperson asks if you need any help, explain you are simply just looking and look forward to them to walk way. Open the internet browser and load your blog. Leave it wide open. Now walk on the next computer and try this process until the entire computers show your blog post. If you are usually really feeling sly, bookmark it on the entire computers. Including I said, these aren’t required to be good or perhaps moral ideas, they just should be silly " what-if" tips. Write a web site browser software that blows anything else away. When the item becomes really well-liked, activate the back-door for the million+ downloaded copies to ensure everyone who at this point loads it up gets your website by default!: -D More desirable / sillier – write a Firefox add-on that most it … Continue reading

Dreamweaver 8 Button Alignment Question

This particular question is regarding an internet site Ive built within Dreamweaver 8. The problem I’m having has related to the misalignment regarding my buttons when viewed on a lap top around firefox or internet explorer. The website looks fine in Safari and the buttons stick into the top like their designed to but when MY SPOUSE AND I view it inside the other browsers, the buttons often try to center themselves with the other layout and hence become misaligned and disseminate. This matter began occurring next time i inserted a larger volume of text into the table alongside the buttons as a result making the page longer than ?t had been before. The particular buttons are imported image graphics coming from Firefox. I can tell from contemplating the code this spacers were added into your dreamweaver code, once i deleted them the layout moved for the top, but I wasnt in a position to find enough of them to align all of the buttons so this idea didnt work plus the buttons were continue to misaligned. My goal should be to find a method to adjust the layout to ensure that the buttons and graphics adhere to the top … Continue reading

The author may be a really great web designer… even my advisor says shes much better than him… oh well hope to find out what are your own thoughts bout this kind of… This is a good evolution in progression and we are during it. We don’t want to reduce the old stuff because some people still use this. We don’t prefer to use the brand new stuff because a lot of people don’t have the item yet! IE6 has one foot inside grave and other foot on a new banana peel. The only real way to complete it off is usually when designers stop designing for it. As long because sites work with IE6 then people will never have a motive to upgrade. … Continue reading

It is my spry menu bar, it features a line through it (where the side of the default dimensions of each one unit used that will be) Just how do i fix this Plus I need them as a certain color (non-transparent) Does someone just edit the CSS on the right hand side with the dreamweaver app WOW – fat loss trust the array or dimensions in Dreamweaver design view – you actually have to try it out in your browser(s) to determine how it will find themselves looking. I have a really strange method of this – I developed my own ring method before Pondered anyone to present me the anything beyond one of the most basic functions in the software… All my classmates along with designer friends giggle about this – they receive way farther considering the layout and design and style using pure coding compared to I do in advance of testing, but this works to me. WHEN I basically use Firebug and WAMP as this WYSIWYG. I can lay out the basic blocking within DW, mostly while using the code view, very rarely the break view, usually based on a pencil design, sometimes on a rough … Continue reading

Image Hyperlink Won’t Work in Firefox – Why

Can anyone tell me why clicking the wheelchair image in the top right with qwebsites. co. uk/firststop4 (sorry I haven’t managed to get a link since I don’t want Google to listing a draft site) will not take you on the wheelchair page if viewed in Firefox but Will perform so when looked at in IE Have spent several hours trying different ways of doing this kind of (tried enclosing inside a div plus tested out css menu plus another menu package) but it throws a wobbly each time. For some rationale, doubleclicking this wheelchair pic highlights market car pic further down the screen – again only in Firefox. That source code is definitely: That CSS is: Not being able to test it… I would start by altering the Z-index and see when there is. Also, define dimensions around class (sometimes FF needs to be given the size)… Do that… . wheelchair place: absolute; top rated: 4px; still left: 796px; width: 150px; height: 52px; boundary: 0px, 0px, 0px, 0px; z-index: 9; I am wondering if FF is definitely seeing the image " behind" instead of " in front". Also, I’m never the fan of utter (or relative) setting. This opens … Continue reading
