Okay got the digital directory working, but no option allowing file browsing…. is this related to IIS setup of course , if so can l basic install the not often known components or do you find it more problematic than that… Well thats what you get for using IIS! But anyhoo isn’t it in properties of the Directory Below permissions!! Hangon you didnt repeat this via the sorcerer did you IIS 5 VARIOUS or 4 Emergeny room… gonna say type 5 (the the one that comes with Win2k)… Yeap setup the particular directory via the wizard but the wizard didn’t deliver the Browsing option….. which it does about this PC… Did a simple investment standard load around the PC it’s not taking care of….. Cant be FIVE coz it gives you the option to browse within the wizard when the actual Access Permissions screen happens! You could didnt select this! Permissions filter only has a pair of options Read Write Should never there be a pair of further options, 1 of which is the look at… Should be 3 i’m sure!! Bugger has learned whats causing this!! netscape 6.1 background-image problems

Hi y’all. Ive been trying to figure this out but have appear short, so I thought I’d personally throw it out into the community. My business is having a problem displaying some pages in netscape SIX. 1 browser. With some pages, where I have a background-image=" somepic. jpg" throughout my. css track, the image shows throughout my page. While this is actually all well along with good, I don’t want the photograph displayed in the table making the text difficult that will read, so WHEN I assigned a bgcolor=" ffffff" for my table. Occasionally the page parses good, but when I head to the secure document page, the bgcolor attribute would not get parsed. If i click on another page (non-secure) the challenge persists. However, if i go to any 3rd page, the page displays properly. I’m not coding anything different within the pages that obtain parsed correctly and the ones that dont. This particular only happens within netscape 6. 1 (the oldest version of netscape I have loaded) but works fine in all other browsers. Newbie help with frames in MX!

Heya Everyone! I’m a bit new to site design but possess taken the tumble and bought Macromedia Facilities MX and Adobe Illustrator CS… To break me on the design works i’ve downloaded an internet template from zymic. com and loaded it in Dreamweaver MX. On the other hand, it has a regular navigational menu for the left and the main content page i always presume is a frame at the heart, and was wondering how you just change the content inside frame when clicking on the nav. buttons without reloading the complete page. To paraphrase i only prefer to treat the middle frame as every single new page. Sorry if this kind of sounds amatuerish but i’m an actual newbie With thanks Guys! Background Image and Screen Resolutions

Hi there guys, Now one I’ve truly talked to until now has been capable of answer this for me but hopefully another person here can. i’m using macromedia dreamworks to produce a new site we plan to always be one picture created in macromedia fireworks. My problem is the fact as a background image it doesn’t resize when your screen resolution modifications, as well while i use it in the same way a picture on the web page even while its large enough to fit the whole page there’s still a white line throughout the image. I Am Lost and Need Some Help Thanks

Ok so okay give you the run-down on what took place. I am a moderate web designer with medium competencies and ability plus learning more constantly. I was building a site for a friend with dreamweaver EIGHT, I know you will find better design programs but that was what I made use of. The site exercised well and I loaded with their host server. I made some changes towards the site and experimented with to update the internet version and in some way lost everything. Now an original site I had replaced is back in its place All my pages are long gone, my design is gone through the web, and MY PARTNER AND I can’t reload this. I have this saved copy in my PC while I save it into the remote host it says it can be loaded and saved but it surely is still that old site.
