Clarity of Transparent Gif Image in Photoshop

I’m attempting to save an impression in Photoshop as being a gif with transparency. The image contains text on a transparent background to ensure that it will overlie a new semi-opaque white image which experts claim overlies rotating photographs underneath. My problem could be that the letters on this image become " shaky" while viewed in ie6 — it’s better however not perfect inside firefox. To make an effort to correct this, I’ve created the words to be twice the size and style I need and reduced it straight down (not ideal but this does create a decentish picture in firefox and not IE). In Photoshop I’ve used this settings: lossy = 0 selective dither 100% matte none The image may be the words " Bathrooms designed and installed to somewhat of a high standard etc" in http: //www. taylormadebathrooms. co. uk/ Has anyone else encountered such a problem That you’re scaling the photograph to 50% its original size. Try turning it into 330px high within the original, and anti-alias to somewhat of a background color with #aaaaaa. Good luck! Many thanks for your help. and the white across the image as a result of your matte – might want … Continue reading

Heya Kaiserman, In case you are laying out your design try a div instead of an table and make use of css. If you should use a dining room table use valign to put it to this top < stand width=" 100%" border=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" > < tr> < td valign=" top" > & nbsp; < /td> < /tr> < /table> Kind regards and the cellpadding=" 0" is where you’ll be able to set the margins when they are equal (eg. 5px perimeter all around). If you would like unique margins, you can apply this < stand width=" 100%" border=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" fashion = " margin-top: 5px; margin-left: … Continue reading

A css workaround for this mispositioning problem

hi there all, I’m having a problem over a site im focusing on where contents in the right side with the page (floated left) move onto the left side side, when the remaining hand side’s height just isn’t long enough to be able to ‘push’ the contents in the right column within correct place (in the correct column) You can see this here: http: //d993110. u183. pipeten. corp. uk/knowledge-share/video-library2. php Please check out this correspdoning screenshot wherever I’ve highlighted the actual mispositioned part: http: //www. ameliealden. com/gprob/mispositioning. png Should the content of. column3. firstcol upon that page ‘naturally’ makes. column3 height big enough to help keep those right boxes pushed towards the right, all looks ok just as this screenshot: http: //www. ameliealden. com/gprob/original. png But once i start adding new boxes towards the right or reduce content to the left, I understand this mispositioning problem (see very first screenshot and http: //d993110. u183. pipeten. corp. uk/knowledge-share/video-library2. php as above. ) For now We have sorted this in a very hacky way by means of just adding any fixed height that will. column3 (1200px in this case) with inline css: Code: < div style=" top: 1200px; " class=" column3 firstcol" … Continue reading
