Image spacing issues with IE
Without doubt guys, I have no idea why but my website http: //www. grapevinylrecords. com operates great on Firefox, it looks clean as well as the images line up okay. Yet on IE, you may notice the images all get knocked out of place. What’s the deal Why does it do that Thanks ahead of time, Jesse oh yea my… < tables> This is a problem with doing page layout employing tables. The banner graphic does not ought to be 4 separate pictures, so combine those people. The remaining of it… the links: I guess if you could make all of them one image and all the same size would guide. Unless you have learned to do this without tables, some individuals hard to explain. I don’t have got time now to indicate an example. The format will be sort of like that…. ——————————————– Hysterical image < div> _________________________ Selection < div> pictures ‘float: left; HA _________________________ Articles < div> Footer < div> _________________________ Using CSS… can be done with no tables. This can make it effortless to edit content and easy deal with mouse-over link photographs (if you wish). Well We can figure it out how to do it … Continue reading →

Photoshop, Illustrator, or both?
Needless to say, I’m new to the web design sport, I’m designing a website for someone plus am wondering what’s the best path to designing the layout along with the graphics with. Do you think you’re all using illustrator, or Illustrator, and also a combo regarding both Which kind of workflow do buy in designing a fantastic site, with uneven backgrounds, graphical nav buttons, nice logos plus such Thank you all! We’d say most employ PhotoShop, but this really doesn’t make a difference. The next result is to have the graphics, or portions ones, into various sections of a web page. Ordinarily a banner segment, navigation section, footer, articles, etc. Create your unique CSS template (or find a pre-existing one) you will use to layout and position your pages together with your graphics. Once intended, all of this pages on the website can use the same fashion sheets and artwork. You’ll discover that internet pages today should " static" webpages. Just about every website now makes use of a server-side scripting language such as PHP to dynamically make the webpages on-the-fly. The forum you’re viewing today is among that. The banner, the backdrop, the colors, the positions, layout… will be … Continue reading →

Why is my website Dancing? Please Help!!
I have used a javascript code set a slideshow with my website. Problem will be the other parts of the website move for the reason that images change. What will i do to halt the footer as well as other " divs" by moving and playing and " dancing" combined with slideshow the webpage url is www. onyemaechibielonwu. com/mrakpor1. I was able to get this done website thanks to contributions from members of this forum. Thought about appreciate. I have learned so much in the couple of weeks since MY PARTNER AND I joined this community forum. Thanks to everyone internet marketing so helpful! It is because your images are generally all different styles. I think you will discover slideshow scripts obtainable that don’t require each of the images to be similar size, but you will need to look for these people. Another option would be to create a background the size and style of your most significant images for the entire smaller images. I believe, I’d look for any script. This will depend on the browser too. What browser does one use WHEN I use Mozilla Firefox when my default browser. Once in some time I also make use … Continue reading →

*background problem when screen resolution changes
Well I obtained a website I’d like to see to code and I’m not too good in coding although I’m designing/coding websites for 2-3 years(ocassional hobby). I always tried and retried along with asked and looked but I always got unwanted side effects. So I want to make this a single by-the-book 100% XHTML Strict/transitional W3C Valid So I used to be thinking where should i start with along with I thought I should as well as the background. I can’t seem to manage even this town. Such as every single thing I ever performed I can’t comprehend it to look exactly the same in every unpleasant screen resolution …. Plenty of talking. As the simple truth is in the picture it has 2 parts. the first is a gradient via blue to white(bottom to top) as well as other part is really a black pattern thing. How do i implement itI aren’t able to simply adjust it’s size to fit my resolution along with browser. It has to look the same for you. And the top part is usually made with the vertical 1px slice the underside one has a pattern in order that it can’t. i used to … Continue reading →

Constructing website for small business. New to web design.
Hi there, I want to develop a website for your small business that looks professional. I want to understand what basic principles of website development languages I need to pay attention to to create a page exactly like the ones listed on this subject link: http: //dzineblog. com/2008/03/10-websites-that-use-javascript-animation-effectively. html What I’m keen on about these websites is they are very attractive graphically, and that is my main concentration. I don’t have any server-side programming for your website, because I will not be needing user input or credit-based card information at the actual moment. I would simillar to to know what I should try to learn to create a graphically user-friendly site that consumers might read for information in the company. I am baffled about whether I want knowledge of Display or JavaScript for a majority of these websites. I’m new to the internet site, and would appreciate help beginning steps. With thanks, Jolly Wolf Well my mate, if you dont wish any input’s at the moment, as i could see the first web site dibusoft. com functions XHTML/CSS & JQuery. I can let you know about the menu you can download it, it is free just yahoo it, its known … Continue reading →

website flickering in IE7
Hello there, When I preview this pages in IE7 as well as ‘flickers’ when POST click my links. (everything is usually fine in FF, of course) My main navigation bar consists of anchors with backdrop images applied by CSS. The masthead, body bg along with footer all take advantage of background images used through CSS also. It also feels to happen whenever a regular < img> tag is needed as well. This definition of, " the images around the page, mostly system – i. age. body bg, masthead, footer bg and many others, blink out and visit or I will even see a fast horizontal white bar flash along the width of the particular screen (the horizontal bar is never inside same place in addition to varies in size). " Concerning searched for hours and get not found a solution that works 100%, possibly there isn’t just one. The best solution Concerning found so significantly is: Code: < meta http-equiv=" Page-Enter" content=" revealtrans(duration=0. 0)" /> < meta http-equiv=" Page-Exit" content=" revealtrans(duration=0. 0)" /> this will reduce most of a ‘flicker’. Although the masthead bg graphic continues to ‘flicker’ when i click any associated with my links. I am done trying … Continue reading →

Has anyone else experienced this concern and does anyone determine what the cause can be and – more importantly – what your fix is Is it due to any security setting on my desktop computer (it doesn’t including me running scripts while i view in-progress sites on my browser) Even so, as I can’t control what surroundings others have at their computers, will there be any way about it I believe – hope – Relating to now solved this matter. This shall be tough to convey over a forum like this, but you need to make use of HTML (XHTML) and CSS to provide the browser the actual code it needs to render your web page. Usually, a person doesn’t really create a whole web page for … Continue reading →

What can I do to improve this template?
I have recently created an online site for a friends and family friend’s bed in addition to breakfast. I’d like some help improving the planning of the template if anyone is actually willing. Any comments/suggestions can be great. Here’s the url intended for my test copy in the site: http: //www. almosthome. nxserve. net/index. php Gives thanks! Andrew Arnott It’s a little flat, and (I’ll say it again) a new logo will really maximize a brand recognition that can people remember your webblog and hopefully returning. Test building the web template using standard-compliant markup and also css, this has benefits including ease regarding updating. Also, try using css text replacement with the navigation. That way you could use the a: hover state for roll-overs as opposed to javascript. I’d personally also increase the line-height for the copy text, and work with the h1 style because it is just a little bland. The most crucial part for an affiliate site like this may be to have a lot of large beautiful photos, because that’s what’s about to bring in this reservations. also, give thought to doing a video tutorial guided tour. individuals eat that stuff up. It’s a little bit bland, … Continue reading →
