Hi everyone I need help on brussels. I am in the act of writing a forum script, but one problem My business is facing constantlly is easy methods to display so a lot information without cluttering in place the interface. For instance, take a typical post on WDF (or almost every other typical forum). This contains the the actual poster’s alias, avatar, lots of solutions (edit, view account, etc), and even more. Now multiply that per post in this thread, and you get lots of info to screen… But WDF’s design is just not messy. Some forums are messy though. So I have two questions: What elements does one like/dislike seeing in forums What the heck is your favourite design for these factors To present you something I considered: do you just like the poster’s alias above the post so they can its left (like about WDF) Almost every other comments, like smiley help, HTML support, and so on are welcome! Dreamweaver link not working !!

Hi again, I appear to be experiencing problems trying to link to a folder from a webpage designed within dreamweaver. I have copied and pasted the actual link \\999. 999. 999. 999\ftproot\myfolder into your web-browser and that prompts me for my user name and password in that case works fine… this opens up OK. However trying to generate a link on the webpage to this kind of address fails. It cannot discover the page. Hello there all, I am just the lone " THAT guy" at a smaller manufacturing company and I’ve dabbled a bit in web design but We would like some help. We have the static website (no online features) and my boss has called for me to generate a way the customers could be sure that the status health of their projects by seeing spreadsheets, get the most recent revisions to specialized drawings, download paperwork, etc. Currently the website is hosted on an ISP. Any suggestions for a simple way to provide a customer his or her password and access to files they could view and download I’m not a programmer or data source person.
