Forum Layout

Hi everyone I need help on brussels. I am in the act of writing a forum script, but one problem My business is facing constantlly is easy methods to display so a lot information without cluttering in place the interface. For instance, take a typical post on WDF (or almost every other typical forum). This contains the the actual poster’s alias, avatar, lots of solutions (edit, view account, etc), and even more. Now multiply that per post in this thread, and you get lots of info to screen… But WDF’s design is just not messy. Some forums are messy though. So I have two questions: What elements does one like/dislike seeing in forums What the heck is your favourite design for these factors To present you something I considered: do you just like the poster’s alias above the post so they can its left (like about WDF) Almost every other comments, like smiley help, HTML support, and so on are welcome! Significantly appreciated. I believe, I wouldn’t develop the forums centered inside window or develop the users information who’s posting the reply or starting your thread above that text, I’d have this forums left aligned as well as auto stretch … Continue reading

Howdy All, I am trying to find a way that will either cloaks the webpage address to ensure if it is definitely saved it generally saves my site homepage, or perhaps a script that will do the same task. Several Thanks Phil This appears like something that can confuse your website visitors, but if you desperately want to do the idea, frames will do that. Make your site load within a one frame frameset, plus your URL won’t change inside address bar because they click around your website. You could build something called WEB ADDRESS masking, it doesnt show the directory just the domain. Im undecided how you do that though, as the only real place I ever used it was before the first website name I ever acquired, and I used it alone without being portion of the hosting arrangement. Look around hard. Hint: whenever you are attempting to do something that may be contrary to what the consumer expects or the behavior of the browser, you are usually doing something erroneous. Hi Thanks for any replies and ideas. The site Relating to is undergoing a rebuild at this time, but when uploaded it provides a few distinct areas. … Continue reading

I have copied and pasted the actual link \\999. 999. 999. 999\ftproot\myfolder into your web-browser and that prompts me for my user name and password in that case works fine… this opens up OK. However trying to generate a link on the webpage to this kind of address fails. It cannot discover the page. I checked this code and discovered it turned out inserting 5%C or maybe something similar the location where the \ characters were being. We don’t wish to get stuck inside a legal hole if that is sensible. Just about any questions feel free to ask. It may be simply a signed document would suffice for a contract. Sending an invoice that isn’t received by a client will most likely not hold up inside court. You’d have to ask a lawyer abuot that particular, though. If this identifies custom stuff, this definitely doesn’t apply in some cases. In the province of Ontario, for instance, IP is retained through the client when the job is commissioned on the developer, regardless of no matter whether the developer is paid the moment. If the developer wishes to get paid, the developer is required to sue. I’ve basically had this confirmed by an THEM lawyer. You’ll need an apostrophe pertaining to " Developer’s code". No hyphen is required in " themselves". I’d move a person’s IE version because of 7 or 8… … Continue reading
