Trouble with uploads
Anybody ever possess a porblem hwere everyone upload files and also the code gets cut off towards the end There will be times in the day when I’ll upload file following file and some of them don’t seem to upload completely, cutting off my code and the bottom of my pages. Usually i can remove the file from the web entirely in addition to reload it several times before it actually pops up full. The weird thing is always that this problem only seems to occur on some computers while other people view the document fine. And its never identical computers. Devices admin is guaranteed its either the IE 5. 5 problem or something within the code. But neither these make sense to my advice. Netscape shows the challenge too and in the event it were program code then why could some see it while other people can’t and why should i eventually get this loaded allright devoid of changing any code I do think its server side nevertheless the admin says that file looks finished when pulled off the server. Now i’m baffled. Anyone else ever have this matter I have never in warring experienced this specific problem. I … Continue reading

Adding sound in Dreamweaver
WHEN I added a background sound (. wav file) throughout Dreamweaver, and as well some rollover looks using Behaviors, and everything worked beautifully at home, but when WHEN I took my website files with a friend’s house and downloaded them in her computer, as opposed to playing the background sound and rollover appears to be, the browser kept trying to open the noises in Quicktime when the mouse rolled covering the image, and the web site kept changing with a plain browser with a Quicktime player inside it. How can I ensure that anyone viewing my site who may have Quicktime as their own default player, does not experience it is there some form of coding I range from that will possibly play the appear in Windows media because it was intended, or perhaps show a lacking link box as it does in Netscape. Thought about want my rollover sounds to work! This is probably not upon answer you are interested in your question, but my advice is to stay clear song etc. when creating websites. It makes your website heavier and sluggish, and you’re not guaranteed others will avoid identical problems you merely experienced yourself! People on the web … Continue reading

Thanks ferfer ferfer- If you’re familiar with CSS, try setting margins for any body to 0. That should do just as well. -Mike not mean padding: Absolutely no, margins… Code: body margin: 0; Sean I am brand new in this – so I am not sure easily am talking related to cell padding, although I dot think I am. Multiple browsers for testing
I currently have got Mozilla Firefox and IE installed and also was wondering if it becomes a good idea to setup another browser to test my sites about. Would this conflict when using the other browsers Beware of any major disparities in other browsers than a site optimised with regard to IE and Mozilla Firefox could look different in Opera or Netscape. I’m unsure of any big differences with Opera, nevertheless I’ve seen quite a few minor differences. Mainly it renders just like FF though. You possibly can cancel out the brand new version of Netscape because it steals rendering from whatever other browser you’ve got. If I fitted opera would it conflict with Net explorer or firefox or cause any problems In terms of i know that won’t, I own both installed. I’d also recommend testing on lynx just to see what your webblog will look such as on text-only browsers and search engine optimization spiders. We’ve checked it at lynx, lucky thing MY PARTNER AND I put those wording links on at the end of the page!!! Now just to have my school challenge site partly obeyed I any longer ! do much next time i go back.

one table row doesn’t show up in IE or Opera
I’m designing a site, and everything seems to figureout fine with te exception of a very important factor – I’ve bought a table of which works in Firefox, Netscape, plus Mozilla, but one line disappears in IE and Opera – the actual row with JPGs in the container. Everything else stays identical. I’ve posted the code for this below if any one has any ideas. Some of seems somewhat clumsy and hacked in my opinion, but I just simply did what I really could to get it to seem the way I need to. This is my first attempt at a website, consequently please pardon any kind of inelegant coding, and so forth, and feel free of charge to suggest far better alternatives. Additionally, one other issue. The W3C validator states I can’t use leftmargin, topmargin, etc as found below – is really a challenge, or can WE ignore it < shape bgcolor=" #bcbc85" leftmargin=" 0" topmargin=" 0" marginwidth=" 0" marginheight=" 0" > bless you, Andrew Code: < table border=" 0" cellpadding=" 0" cellspacing=" 0" width=" 100%" > < tr> < td colspan=" 7" > < img src=" beige-bar-2×2. gif" width=" 100%" height=" 15" border=" 0" > < /td> < … Continue reading
